For some reason, it seems this project will be less likely to continue from now on. Perhaps some bad funding/financial problems bars the team from further motivation.
I feel very sad hearing this news. If it gets some custom sound effects/voice acting it can have potentials to directly compete with Inti Creates games.

I've been playing through this on Master mode and it's quite fun, shame they won't be doing more with it. I have no idea who any of these vtubers are and there's not really an easy way to view them outside bilibili I think.

Yeah it's really sad but the real-life issue is cold. In the latest activities the dev also confirmed suspention of the development of vup.
