I'd be very surprised if this information is officially released to the public anytime soon by mainstream media.

Where are this guy's references and sources? I stop watching after 5 minutes when no actual references materialise.

Sadly the video does seem to go on and on. Although I shut it off almost at the end without realizing. It seems to take a while before he gets to the point of the matter. I'm personally on he fence with this one. I would love to think that we're going to get off fossil fuels very shortly, but at the same time the hard reality of today's fuel business won't allow for such a drastic change because they are afraid of losing their control over the market, and their control on us who use the their products.

Yep, fuel is big business and a way to keep the automotive business in check which is the backbone of local travel and industrialisation.

I've seen quite a few videos like this which seem to just drag and drag. Due to myself exiting and the site asking "leave this page" I just have to question the authenticity of "random guy talking" about random facts. Am I saying it's completely false? No, but what has driven this person to create this video other than getting clicks (which also generate profit) and is the information fully referenced and sourced? In my experience these videos are generally about some kind of investment or knowing more info by some kind of paid/ website subscription.

If it was true then surely even in the alternative media we'd have seen articles been published. Because the things about articles and written text is once they are published with references, it's very difficult for the author to retract what they've written. I'm also a believer that what people say gets thrown around but what they publish in black and white stays with them for a long time. (why fb and twitter are potentially dangerous tools).

Does this guy even leave a citation of himself?

The man who's narrating the vid is one Dr. Kent Moors. He's a well-known analyst in the field of energy and fuels apparently. I've seen him on TV whenever they're discussing the energy market.

Alright cool. Generally people who are well known locally even will start with an intro spiel and "Hi, I'm Dr ...." Maybe I missed this part though.
