Imagine the Ninja Gaiden jump animation, but with a sword-blur sticking out.

Oooooooh! Okay. That's a jumping attack though. I meant alternate weapons for each context. (standing, ducking, jumping)
Like thrown weapons. An alternate means of attack. Maybe I'll give him a Chakram or something. That's what his robot pets throw anyway.

Strider Hien uses this boomerang attack in Strider 2, maybe use that as a secondary?

Looking for help finding a sprite for mud or really muddy water, swamp water, and sewer water. I looked at the ones in all of the castlevania games, and the only one that I thought looked good was humorously enough the one in castlevania 3. Which obviously wouldn't fit into SOTN. Any help here would be appreciated.

EDIT: found sewer water & swamp water

Wish i could help you their. We have mud in our game for swamplands. Lemme know,Esco, if you want it.  Also figured i'd post this. Credit here goes to Abster and Serio from Serio's site. Anyone know what frames our what for the sotn hyppogryph. I think it's rather obscure. Seems like their maybe extra frames i've never seen. When watching in footage it's rather hard to tell what it does. I know when it lands it spreads it's wings out, similarly when it makes eggs. Many moves i can tell but the last 4 rows other than it's death are rather hard to tell. Anyhow here's the sheet. If anyone knows what moves are what that would be cool. It's a bit boggling.

Yes Las I would like to see your mud effect. BTW here is hippogryph; btw some of these animations (like death) are missing frames. My advice next time is to set epsxe to run at 10 FPS; you can then switch between that and normal speed by hitting F7 to examine the frames easier in game. Save state at the boss too of course.

BTW, I did not forget about what we discussed in PM's; but I am still working on 2 of the examples in it and have been very busy.

Nice job!
Digging that Eric.

I'm thinking about finishing up my Sonia Belmont sprite but I've not been inspired lately, and I've actually fallen behind on other projects I am supposed to be working on.. :\
