Great review. He just fucked up on his controls complaint but it's solid overall.

personally Bloodlines was the first Castlevania I ever beat legitly, this was before i knew about rondo of blood mind you, Super CV4, err im still greifing with that one >.< but I love the visuals in these above games, Bloodlines really gave you a WTF in the final stage in terms of the level segmenting into different rendoring areas, the lighting in bloodlines makes you also feel your in the building, the other games, not even SOTN, used moonlight flooding into the halls, in my Opinion if you own a genesis, you have to own Castlevania Bloodlines
