Closed due to lack of interest and submissions.

Deadline for submissions: ~~August 26th (11:59 PM PST)~~
Judgement: by tribunal and popular vote from August 26th to August 31st at midnight and Winners announced on September (whenever the all judges are done)

Volunteer Judges: I need names here! Or else the poll shall decide the winner.

Theme: Recreate any Castlevania character in the form of a car.
Prizes: Award medals for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Guidelines for Participants:
-Provide your sprite in 1x and 2x zoom at least.
-The length (side view) of the car must not exceed 100 pixels.
-Provide at least 4 views of the car (top, side, front, back).
-No style restrictions (you may use a base car) but the final design must reflect the Castlevania character.
-Contestants can post as many entries as they want and may update their entries freely before the submission deadline.
-You may withdraw any entry at any time before the judgement begins.

Guidelines for Judges:
-Judgement will use a point system.
-4 points awarded for your first place choice.
-2 points awarded for your second place choice.
-1 point for your third place choice.
-When posting your scores write up an explanation/critique of your judgement.
-Additional rounds of judgement will be used for tie breakers.
-Judges cannot participate in the contest.
-There will be a poll to vote for the most popular sprite and this popular vote would serve as an extra judge.

Maybe should we just end this one? Close it out for now and potentially use the idea again another time? We could try a different sprite contest, or just have no contest for a month-or-however-long...

If we were gonna save the car idea, we could just add it to the list, along with my recent suggestion about spriting/describing your take on the Vampire Killer Whip (that is, unless we want to just start a different contest). I don't remember any other ideas that were on that list now though... :-/

@theAndroid: Plot said he's gonna do something. I'd give him and the rest a month to submit since it's summer break and all. If nothing happens, I'll stop this. Afterwards, I'm taking a break from hosting these contests.

I have a contest with a prize and a theme (someone already contacted me regarding this) for September for the 30th anniversary of Castlevania.

As for the list of ideas, I think we're done with most of them. The whip theme might be delayed until after September.

@plot: You can make something and keep it in storage until someone else submits or the contest ends without any submissions. By that time, you may choose to upload whatever you have done.
