Just spam him with holy water + normal attack. Don't forget to use resist lightning or just equip anything that negate Galamoth's lightning attack.

Or do it the easy way like the post mentioned earlier - Alucard + Shield Rod or Crissaegrim are knocking on the door.

You can also get on the ledge on the far right, up top, and just punch him in the face to death, though it's been ages so I don't remember how hard this is to pull off. I think he stays pretty much unable to hit you in this case, though. Slightly less cheap than the beryl circlet, imo :P

This is how you get him in a stun lock. It also works with Richter and Maria for an easy win.  You just have to jump over him at the beginning of the fight and get on the right ledge and hit him in the face when he turns around. You should be able to wail on him over and over until he is dead without any retaliation.  Just don't stop attacking until he is dead or it won't work.

Aha, that's what I thought. Though I tend to just use the circlet; it occurred to me without looking up a strategy, so I feel less cheap for it, haha.

I think you can also glitch to the poison gas power
(click to show/hide)
and then just hang out between his ankles taking no damage and dishing out the pain. But I never actually tried that.

The one thing I've noticed when fighting Galamoth is that his head is more vulnerable then the rest of his body. by getting up to the ledge and dishing out whatever you've got you're sure to kill him much faster then facing him on the ground. This boss fight always used to give me a hard time until I discovered the Beryl circlet and the Crissaegrim. Before that it was an almost constant use of the Soul steal technique.
