Title: Reggie Fils-Aime in the next Smash Bros.

We've seen some odd online petitions of late, but this new one really takes the biscuit — it's to get Nintendo of America COO Reggie Fils-Aime into the forthcoming Smash Bros. title on Wii U and 3DS.

The petition — which can be viewed here — seems absurd, but it is based on comments previously made by Fils-Aime himself. When he recently appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon answering questions from Twitter, he was asked if he would be appearing as a playable character in the upcoming brawler.

He replied:

You have to ask that to Mr. Sakurai. He's the producer of the game, it's his game. But if he wants, my body is ready.

IIRC they cant use them anymore because its in Square domain. Me and a lot of people want to see them too.

In fact, if I put even a tad bit of effort into it, I could probably come up with over 100 different 1st Party Nintendo characters I'd rather see. I'd rather have the Club Mario guys than him. (Satellite surfin' is where it's at, ya' know.)

I don't know why there's even a petition for this. I can't think of any reason why anybody would want to play as him other than the "ha ha look how funny and unexpected this is!" factor, and even then there are STILL a lot of people that work work better.

Maybe they want to see him in a game because he is a meme right now (also this DK face doesnt help anything)

Afro Reggie should be unlockable, imagine he doing his Final Smash and shouting "My Afro is Ready!!!", while the normal shouts "My Body is Reggie" lol
