While Koumajou Densetsu may be a CV clone doujin game series, it instead opts to use a variety of styles for its soundtrack. This one, I believe, is the closest to the Castlevania style compared to the other tracks from the games.
麗しき紅の城主 The Beautiful Scarlet Lord of the Castle - Koumajou Soundtrack
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

Like I've said before, I hate Touhou, but these games are really good. That said, this song is pretty much a rendition of Richter's theme from Rondo of Blood:

This piece of music from Revolutionary Girl Utena definitely makes me think of Castlevania.  Probably because of the organ and obvious Bach influence.

Most here probably already now of the rather obscure Japanese PC-98 game "Rusty". Along with everything about it being blatantly similar to Castlevania, the music especially strikes that familiar chord. I believe there never was an official released soundtrack but here's a good quality complete fan-made rip I found: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=H032QF7W

There's not many tracks up on youtube but this one is pretty badass:

This song reminds me of Castlevania's underground areas:

Don't know if this has been posted before but it reminds me of Castlevania music, specifically the Pachislot OSTs.

Ikki Tousen DD - Soundtrack: Teni no Theme (Sanbika)

That is an excellent track; I may end up using it.

Guys, you should take a listen to this: Yngwie Malmsteen - Far Beyond the Sun (around 0:30) // Castlevania II - Dwelling of Doom

It seems the Konami Kukeiha Club has some good inspirations, haha.

Yeah ! I did a video about Castlevania and Metal Bands ;)
