who has any good ideas for a castlevania game with a new plot, some characters, and level designs.

---------------------------------------------------
MY IDEAS : LAST UPDATED 10/12/07
---------------------------------------------------
Title : Castlevania - Shadow Of Reflection

Plot : The year is 2124. A dark castle in Europe arises, but nobody is there. It awaits a leader, to be of pure darkness. Jason Belmont follows his legacy of vampire hunting, but this time there is no Dracula at the castle, but the new dark leader, GAMBLE, awaits.

Some new characters:
Jason Belmont - Julius Belmont's Grandson who takes the lead role of the game, he has the vampire killer whip, and he is the age of 22. He was kidnapped by Death since he had a dark energy which could help Dracula's reincarnation process, and keep Dracula alive forever.

Robert Lee - The salesman of the game. Wandering off in Europe he ended up here. He opened up a shop with weapons he had found to gain money to leave the castle wealthy.

FeiLong Chan - A Chinese fighter, who has the dark power to turn into a dragon. He also has the powers to create extreme wind currents.

GAMBLE - A mysterious person, the lead antagonist of the game, he is a magician, and is said to become the Lord of Darkness.

New level scenaries:
Carnival Of Doom - An inside carnival filled with clown skeletons, and various enemies that make the quest through alot more annoying. Boss : BLOODCLOWN

Space Lab - A lab in space where you first meet Robert Lee. Alot of enemies, and the BOSS : Zerf and Skar (alien brothers).

The Casino - A fun place with blackjack skeletons, slot machines that come alive, and even a good music tune to flow with it. BOSS : Doppelganger

Maybe you could elaborate more about your ideas than just saying their names.

I have a CV idea, I just can't program... All I do is ideas... but here it is...
----------
Castlevania: The Apocalypse Overture

10 years ago, a 30-something year old Belmont, Gregory Belmont (who had 6 children) defeated Dracula and the Cult that was following his orders.  One of the cult members was off recruiting for his dark lord.  This cult member was a 19 year old by the name of James Davis.  Davis returns to the temple of Castlevania and finds the cult destroyed and Dracula vanquished.

'Present day'(10 years later) James Davis has found out that Dracula's essence has been seperated into 7 parts (yeah Simon's Quest reference) Rib, Heart, Eye, Nail, Ring, Blood and Fang.  Each of these parts were handed off to 6 close family friends to the Belmonts-- The Rib went to the Lee family, the Heart went to the Oldman family, the Eye went to the Butler family, the Nail went to the Roxburg family, the Ring went to the Purcell family, and the Fang went to the Lagosi family (get the names?) while Gregory Belmont kept the Blood.  Davis also found a way to resurrect Dracula while seperating his soul into 7 parts.

-Graphics
NES CV graphics

-Gameplay
Play as Davis resurrecting Dracula
Sidescrolling platformer
Open exploration like the recent CVs
Level up, and Equipment like recent CVs
HP, MP, Hearts, and Money
Day and Night (changed a bit from CV2SQ)
Shopkeepers

-Secondary weapons
Rebound Crystal (normal rebound crystal)
Dark Mist (used like normal holy water, just smoke)
Spellbook (used like Holy Book)
Boomerrang (normal boomerrang)
Sacrificial Dagger (used like normal Dagger)

-Bosses
The 6 Keepers of the Count
The false Demon Lord
Gregory Belmont

-Enemies (at first)
Crystal Guards
Vampire Hunters
Militia Members
Dogs
Town Guards
(you can even kill villagers if you wish)

-Enemies (later on)
A False Demon Lord claiming to be Count Dracula has taken residence in Castlevania and has sent out minions of his own.  These enemies are the ones normal from the CV series, graphically altering or making from scratch enemies from the more recent to make more of a variation from just NES enemies.

So playing as Davis you go to the 6 mansions sacrificing the keepers and using the parts to have Dracula inhabit their bodies for his own.  After you have done that, you head to Castlevania where you face off against the False Demon Lord, clearing the room for the final battle with Gregory Belmont.  You defeat Belmont, using his body and the blood of Dracula that he carries to resurrect the 7th incarnation.  When you awaken the 7th resurrection, all 7 awaken.  You sacrifice yourself to the 7th and the game is over.  Leading up to the sequel.

-Night and Day
At the top right corner is a time keeper(game time).  In real time Day lasts for 20 minutes and Night for 10 minutes.  Each night is a different moon phase.  During the New Moon you can enter the Temple of the New Moon, where the cult was awakening Dracula 10 years ago.  During the Full Moon, Davis gains some monsterous powers.  Werewolves show up also.  A few other things during the different moon phases, just can remember them all.

----------
Castlevania: The Apocalypse Crescendo

A week later Gregory's children are told of the horror that is the death of their father at the hands of a cult.  The Belmont Mansion is devestated.  But the Children know what must be done.  Although they are Belmonts Only the eldest of the family was trained in the ways of the Whip.  The rest have their own weapon.

And with Gregory taking the Family weapons, a new set has been gathered until the recovery of the Crucifix, Dagger, Axe, Holy Water, and the Stop Watch

The Belmont Children(and their weapon) are--
Peter Belmont (Hunter's Whip)
William Belmont (Hunting Knife)
Justine Belmont (Silver Throwing Daggers)
Hugh Belmont (Crossbow)
Wes Belmont (Sword)
Edward Belmont (Spear)

Basically the word is out that there are 7 Draculas and the Belmonts go out and hunt them down.

-Graphics
NES CV graphics

-Gameplay
Play as The Belmont Children
Sidescrolling platformer
Open exploration like the recent CVs
Level up, and Equipment like recent CVs
HP, MP, Hearts, and Money
Day and Night (like Overture)
Shopkeepers
At the Belmont Mansion change out Character

-Secondary weapons
Rebound Crystal
Holy Book
Boomerrang
Laurel
Bibuti

-Minibosses
Giant Bat (Lagosi castle)
Medusa (Oldman castle)
Mummy (Butler castle
Frankenstein's Monster (Purcell castle)
Wyvern (Lee castle)
Camilla (Roxburg castle)
Kid Dracula version Alucard (Castlevania)

-Bosses
The 6 Dracula clones
Dracula

-Enemies
Overture enemies (minus the goodguy enemies)

-Special
If you beat the Dracula clones with the matching Belmont, during Castlevania you get to pull off a PoR Dual Character mode.  And at the end you will get the 'best' ending.

----------

If you haven't noticed, each of the keepers are different Draculas from movies, and each of the Belmonts are named after an actor from the same movies.

Oldman and William from Bram Stoker's Dracula (Gary Oldman and Bill Campbell)
Lee and Peter from multiple Dracula movies (Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing)
Butler and Justine from Dracula 2000 (Gerard Butler and Justine Waddell)
Roxburg and Hugh from Van Helsing (Richard Roxburg and Hugh Jackman)
Purcell and Wes from Blade Trinity (Dominic Purcell and Wesley Snipes)
Lagosi and Edward from the Universal Studios Dracula (Bela Lagosi and Edward Van Slone)

Those are also what I meant by the matching Dracula and Belmont.

Yeah if anyone wants to make those into games go ahead... Sorry I don't have the endings or anything, I was just working with the main idea.  Just give me credit where credit is due if you do make them.

"Castlevania: In the Hood" Join Quayneesha Belmont in her quest to whip Dracula and his nocturnal nasties outta her hood! She is not alone, however; she also has her trusty uzi-weilding, wall-climbing, wise-cracking Hispanic companion, Zapato "The Zombie Killa" DaNasti to bust some zombie booty.

-Over 5 stages
-Many weapons, including whip, longer whip, metal whip, longer metal whip, and whip on fire
-Include five different option: Start game, Load game, Erase game, Sound test, and Options
-New urban poor setting bring excite

"Castlevania: Back 2 Tha Hood"- The sequel to last year's cult hit "Castlevania: In the Hood". Dracula returns once again to haunt Downtown LA. This time, he has vowed revenge on the ones who ousted him from his Hoodly throne, and kidnaps Quayneesha Belmont. To add insult to injury, the Government has ordered a quarantine on downtown LA, and in exactly one week, the Hood will be no more than a few charred homie skeletons (who will probably be reanimated by Dracula anyway). As Zapato DaNasty, it is your job to sneak through the Army's barriers, rescue Quayneesha, and pop a cap in Dracula's ancient ass before the whole place is done burned up!

-Over 5 stages
-Sequel to the first game
-Include sneaky sneak, wall climb and gun shoot
-Many gun
-Time limit make panic fast pressure game play

"Castlevania 3: Rave From the Grave"- Our friends Quayneesha and Zapato just can't seem to shake that crazy Dracula. Thanks to a black mass cleverly disguised as a rave, he's back! Again! And this time, he's enlisted the help of thousands of ravers under his spell. Utilizing this manual labor, Dracula is constructing a massive urban castle of his own twisted design. The clock is ticking, and Dracula will have his way with the Hood unless Quayneesha and Zapato "stick it to the Man" (although in this case, it wouldn't be "man", it would be "Dracula").

-Over 5 stages
-Player can go on alternating paths: left or right
-Can switch between Beaumont and DanAsti
-Boss very big size

"Castlevania: Ballad 4 the Moon"- Quayneesha and Zapato have taken a vacation - at the worst of all times! The Hood is in dire danger, as Dracula has once again risen from the dead. And it seems that this time, the last laugh may be his. Dracula has successfully gotten many of his right hand men into high positions at NASA. It is up to you, as FBI Agent Johnathan "John" Morris, to retrieve the Vampire Killer whip of legend from Quayneesha, cleanse NASA of evildoers, and chase Dracula to his wicked Moon Base.

-Over 5 stages
-Stage in city and stage in space
-Have more than whip
-Music is of good rice

what about a game related to the old book/movie/lp "Journey to the Center of the Earth"?

Something about Dracula hiding in the Center of the Earth and having a Belmont on a quest to find him and beat the sh*t out of him.

I mainly wanted to have "Dracula" and "Moon Base" in the same sentence. Probably should have just done one for that.

On the other hand how about Konami's new educational osteology game "Demon Castle Scapula"?
