I think this be cool but watch a bit of it, and the voices are way too low sadly. makes it un watchable. you have to not get too carried away with the music too the point it drowns out the voices. but looks pretty cool. it cut off when Trevor met the learners or whatever their called. might download but 15 gbs. I hope this has 6 channel audio for such a big file size if not no reason for such a big file. anyway thank you for the work.

If TheouAegis keeps going he's going to strip-mine the entire game before long  :o

Weeeeell it has been quite some time since he started this quest of his. But we wait around and see what else he can dig up  :)

On this date twenty-six years ago I signed up for America OnLine and two months after that I began to celebrate (STILL) one of my favorite videogames of all time, CastleVania III: Dracula's Curse.  (And planted one of the first--if not the first--Slogra fandom flags online.  8))

So of course I'm digging all of this, technical as it is.

I must say, while AkuDen is definitely a different audio experience (and many have lauded this in a way I can't quite grasp, like how they say X68k's {expressed by whatever MIDI hardware} sounded better than Super IV's {with its miraculous Philharmonic cum Jass Club on-a-CART}), having been raised on the American Version's tones and beats and hits and just gahdamn how DEJA VU was practically the first Chiptune ReMix!!!, I've long been aware of the nuances hinting at something else at work having been stripped away to leave behind something charming and immortal.

But mebbeh that's just some of my bias.

All that to say I'm looking forward to what more you uncover from this masterpiece that in Japan is this kind of thing and in The States, is the kind of thing modern myths are made of! 8) 8) 8)

N'yeah, figuring out where to go next was part of the flow & fun.

Now, if they're just trying to hax0r CVIII into a stage-by-stage-by-stage situation, alright, I'll settle with that reason.

...but why not retain those forks in the road to keep the hax just as interesting?

Quote from: CastleVania III: Dracula's Curse THE PAGE!!! (CAST/ALLIES section.)
Don't expect to run into this super-rare item too much in this game, but when you do get the opportunity to drink of this flask of benevolent spirits, you will be invulnerable to enemies' touch for a fleeting 6 seconds. It should also be noted that the bottle's color will correspond to the Ally who uses it.

...is all I had to say on the matter back then.  I very much appreciate the forensic analysis on this one, though if it's such a dealbreaker in Floating Platform areas, why could they not just relegate it to where those aren't and wouldn't interfere with the bigger picture?

At the end of the day this lone bottle seems more of a wink to the item's appearance back in CV1, which was a lot more generous when it came to enemies dropping random-ass items, like uncalled-for IIs & IIIs.

Too slow-paced maybe..? Personally I liked the mapscreen  :)

A reasonable evaluation...but a three-frame walk cycle at this juncture, though?  C'mawn, 2001 guys!

I am opening this thread for feedback, suggestions for improvements over the original title etc. I actually never played this one. I probably should do that. I have only been watching playthroughs. :D

Cheers to you getting back in The Game, so to speak.  I would strongly recommend you play Legends to get a feel for how trash it was (>)) compared to what came before, that way you can better calibrate your sense of how much ass your efforts will actually be kicking. 8)
