I would have to say mine is A Major.

Why would you prefer a chord or a key over another?

Hmm good point I guess it also depends on the arrangement too. There's some nice brooding tunes in E Minor that I happen to like also. I guess most of the time chord would only make a difference if the song is arranged really well or terribly.

speaking of I am learning my majors and minors right now and I mean really learning them instead of remembering it by  Fat Cats Get Drunk At Ernies Bar or something.

I prefer minor key, always.
But I don't have a favourite minor key, or a chord.
I have certain chord progressions I like, however, but there's a lot of them.
