They look OKAY in my opinion. Though Alucard has lost his bishounen looks (which might be a good thing). :-X

My big question is Why doesn't the Succubus have a removable top? Wouldn't that be more like the official game art? ;D

It is removable as far as I know. They just couldn't put the ZOMGHENTAI version on the image I guess. :P

Indeed. Simon and Succubus look good, but Drac and 'card look eww.

Oh well, ordered anyway. I actually placed a pre-order two weeks ago at CornerStoreComics.com, but it actually led to the Amazing Toyz shopping cart, so I guess I ordered from the same place. :o

I also pre-ordered Dracula X Chronicles at GameStop, and thus I should be getting that little 8-bit Simon toy when I go pick it up in October or whenever it's out.

Here's (http://kotaku.com/photogallery/cc07necacv/2245727?viewSize=thumb1280x1280) the proof that Succubus bares her boobies. That is, unless the final product is different. The initial idea was to have her topless, but her boobs are covered for the in-package display.

I'll be ordering my copy of DXC soon as well. I want that 8-bit Simon action figure too. ;)

Haha! That's awesome! So she does have a removable top. There's the proof I've been looking for. 8)

Indeed. :o I'd be pissed off if the toy based on Succubus' design in SOTN didn't showcase the nipples.

I'll just buy them from Play Asia and that's because it's a site that i can trust and also it doesn't have too much difference on price.

Over at bigbadtoystore.com they are $49.99 for the set.  They are a good site with solid reputation for those who don't want to take a chance on unfamiliar sites.

I thought it was reported that Simon will also be included with the leather whip? It doesn't seem like they're advertising it..

It's a sub-weapon for Simon. Dracula comes with the Stopwatch. Do you think it's for Drac, himself? He doesn't need a stopwatch, he has a clock tower to tell him the time! A lot of the sub-weapons are for Simon, even though they come with the other figures.

Ok, I'm a bit of NECA-fan.  So I am up on the latest stuff for this.

Simon does come with a leather whip, and spiked chain whip.
Succubus does have a removable top.
The axe the succubus has is for Simon.  When you collect all 4 you get EVERY subweapon from Cv1.
Simon has knife and cross boomarang.
Succubus has axe.
Dracula has stop watch.
Alucard has holy water (and the rosario).

They do this as a way to give other figures stuff and at the same time, make the customers buy the complete set so that they can give their Simon figure all the sub weapons.

It wouldn't not make sense if Drac has a stop watch, atleast an antique one.

Dude, with sylvain white at the helm we'll probably get to see Simon serve Dracula in a dance-off...  :(

I was actually excited about paul anderson...

I find it odd that the stopwatch is baby blue.  Sure, it is blue in the DXC games, but I sort wished NECA colored the watch silver.  I mean, plastic doesn't exist during Simon's time.

I doubt it will be that color.  It says on the page that the final products will vary from those pics.

I'll agree with the first three you mentioned: Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon, and Resident Evil. I did enjoy those movies quite a bit. However, Alien Vs. Predator sucked, in my opinion. The action and cinematography in that movie was just plain lame. :(

I lament that fact that they're releasing a SECOND AvP movie soon. That's just adding insult to injury. >:(

Um... have you seen the avp2 trailer?  It is gonna be nothing like the first one.  The two directors hated the first one and refused to even talk to anderson.

Watch this...

No, it's set in the jungle this time round - by the look of it, what's the bet we wont actually see any sort of alien/predator hybrid as hinted at in the first film?

Xenomorphs Rock.

Alucard looks like a younger David Bowie. Interesting.

But why, oh why is his hair blonde?  :o

Apart from that, I think he looks pretty damn cool. Dracula would've looked better if he had his more regal, lips closed pose from the SOTN art than baring his fangs. That look has been stupid ever since Christopher Sarandon ruined it.  ;)

His hair color changes, and those are from Symphony as I take it and his is blonde in that.

It hasn't always been blonde. In some of the SOTN pictures it's blonde but in most of them it's silver/white. It's also white in the game.

Go take a look at the pictures on SOTN page in the Dungeon. 4, 5, 6 as well as the Saturn and Japanese artwork (and covers) all portray him with white hair. In picture #5, which the figure seems to be the most closely modeled after, his hair is white.

Minor detail, I guess. I've just gotten use to thinking of Alucard as having white/silver hair, not blonde.

It's a pale blonde, all right, but it's still blonde.

Um, his sprite's hair is white. Being that I've played the game every year since 1997 I've done more than just glance at his sprite. ;D

Pictures Alucard 1, 2 & 3 definitely show him with pale blonde hair, no argument. The rest show his hair as being more white than any shade of blonde. Off-white in some cases, sure, but decidely not blonde.

Only three pixels of his sprite's hair are white. The majority of it is pale yellow with hints of grayish green.

49$ + shipping costs. Shipping costs to Europe are ridiculous.
