NBA 08/09

Some questions:

- Who wants to see the Lakers fail again?

- How bout' that Lebron James?

- Doesn't Larry Bird look awesome now?

- No seriously, he looks awesome, yeah?

- Will OKC learn to ever NOT suck?

- When will Rasheed go asshat-crazy again? That's fun.

- Doesn't Z-bo look kinda like Eddie on Family Matters?

I'm hoping the mavs will do better this year and actually get somewhere in the playoffs again, that loss in the first round to golden state really hacked me off and showed Nelly's Superior coaching skills despite having less talent on his team. Just shows how much a good coach is an integral part of the game.

As a Hornets fan I'd like to see Chris Paul get a ring, but so long as they struggle against Kobe Cryant, and the Lakers (where's Magic Johnson and the real Showtime Lakers when you need them, they are too old to play anymore) they won't get anywhere.

It'll be another Celtic year this year, so no worries about Kobe winning a title without Shaq.

I'd keep my eye closer on the Cavs ;)  They're looking better and better towards a ring every day, and still the only team undefeated at home (we in Portland were second there, but we recently fell). I watched them on XMAS day: they're not only good, but fun to watch. Ironically, King James didn't do much in that one though. It was more Mo.

And yeah, if it's another Celtic year, whoopdedoo. How many times have they won? BORING. (Both franchises of Lakers and Celtics just aren't that exciting to me).

Haha -- you also got like 5 technicals :D

Well, you just played better than us in 4th quarter, but we'll get you next time.

Hornets got blown out by 20 on Christmas Day, something wrong with the team this year, they don't have the fire of last years team (and aren't surprising folks anymore).

The Celts lost to the Lakers, the followed up with a loss to the Golden State Warriors, an embarrassment to the Celtic organization, but to be fair, the Celts looked tired in the 4th quarter against the Lakers.

The Orlando Magic are getting up there now, too. Also, when did San Antonio pull so far ahead?

I'm glad to hear Boston lost 2 in a row, even if it meant one to the Lakers.

We play these hounds on Tues, and they blew us out last time. Blazers are hungry for revenge against Boston. They're on our turf now.

So... what was up with Dirk punching a Jazz player? O_O He's had a temper of late.

didn't see this one the first read through. I would love it,  Kobe is as immature as it gets. The lakers are gonna fail anyway if they get that far again, the celtics and pistons are at a level the lakers will never be ( not without some major rearranging again and a great center) and there's almost no way in hell both of them will get knocked out unless due to injuries on their teams.

Don't get what was up with Dirk punchin' the dude in the face, that was just wrong. I'm sure he'll get a nice talkin' too though and suspension.

Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot!

Blazers beat Boston!  Without our star guard, Brandon Roy!

HUGE win for us.

Boston might just have 5 losses, but we gave them one of those.

So suck it, Garnett! >:(

And CP3 showed how much of a man he was, still winning without his center, his alley oop partner in crime, Tyson Chandler.

Thanks for the heads up on the Hornets Lakers game, I didn't get a chance to catch it, but this makes up for them killing us at home.  :D

Cavs host Celtics tonite: BIG GAME.

Can Cleveland prove they're the new kings of the East, while at the same time defending their already amazing home stand?

Can Boston overcome their recent slump and earn back the league as well as their dignity?

8PM ET/ 5 PM PT (ESPN)

I'ma watch this one.  :)
