Is it still be possible to find some on-line work?

I'm looking into it, but all of my job hunting education and experience is the traditional style, so I really have no idea where to look or even how. Right now I'm just kind of blindly fumbling along with a vain hope that maybe I'll bump into something.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

My family as with all the rest of the of the millions of Filipinos are in home quarantine.
I just feel bad that the government is not planning this well. The rich are happy binge watching netflix with air-conditioning and a huge stockpile of groceries; but the poor and the homeless...
Also, the president is now planning emergency powers that will probably lead into Martial Law... dammit!

Gonna pop in here and share some of the feelings of helplessness I see in America right now. New York looks like it's about to go through hell, and as a Brooklyn born person, it upsets me far more than I was expecting to see hospitals I know in the area - places where I was born, friends or family were hospitalized in - turn into max capacity chaos zones. Worse still is how due to the bumbling buffoonery of the current elected administration, it's horrifying to see how this has become a "state issue." We're going to see states downplay this issue to "get people back to work" and this is almost exclusively a Republican party push; much better to make people expose themselves to illness for stonks, I guess. I can totally see an environment that Trump says everything is fine on Easter, tell everyone normal life must return, and things to get worse. America is already likely poised to be the worst hit in terms of infections and potentially deaths, so this timeline of us being free to go in weeks, not months, is scary. And of course, he'll use Twitter to attack the states that stay home, which will be the major cities in the country.

Sorry for getting so political here. My naivety was that a crisis like this would have the country gather in solidarity. I didn't expect to hear arguments, not even a month in, that people should just die because we have to live for the stock market.

I'm doing fine so far. I've been working from home for two weeks and I only leave my home to get groceries, but I try to keep that to a minimum. Since I'm at home at all other times, the store is the only way I can catch the virus, but its definitely a high risk place to be during a pandemic. It's enough to keep me paranoid.

I am thankful for being better off than many others so far, but I'm also terrified to see what awaits us for the next couple of months. Like mentioned above, our leaders are basically saying that they want to save the economy at all costs, even if it means our elderly and vulnerable will die in far greater numbers as a result. I've never seen such political lunacy in my lifetime. I have no reason to believe that things will get any better over the next few months.

Luckily I still have my job and CN to keep my mind occupied as this nightmare continues.

My girlfriend's mom is a cancer survivor but her immune system is still low.
So she can't see her.
We can't 'see' anyone.
My mom is healthy but she's a senior citizen in her 70's now so she's opting to stay home.

I'm a salaried designer so staying home or not, my pay is apparently the same.  However, I don't have any work orders coming in, so I'm spending my time home, bonding with my gal and her four-year old son.

Without being able to see anyone else except for online, tensions are beginning to build.

But this is minor in comparison to other people, who've had relatives or close friends contract this thing and either become severely debilitated, quarantined, or dead.

So far I've been fortunate. I work in a hospital, and although part of it has been quarantined and we all are required to wear masks (for droplet precautions), it hasn't been total chaos yet. I've been using DoorDash and Hello Fresh a lot because I want to minimize the trips I'd have to make for groceries otherwise. This is making a relationship in my life harder (well, harder for me, at least), but I know things will eventually get better out there. Just not sure how soon.

No living grandparents to worry about, or my dad, so that's a relief in a really weird way. I need to talk to my mom to see how she's doing.

I just feel fucking terrible for those who have lost employment because of this, or those who are at higher risk of death. And Graduations cancelled, funerals cancelled. It all just sucks so much.

This current time in the world is a very difficult one. Globally it's been one of the more intense and unfavourable starts to the year; Australian bush fires, Kobe Bryant's death, Corona Virus, Economic Chaos and the postponement of the Olympics.

Guys, I wanted to say to all of the Dungeonites both old and new, I've been thinking of all of you, particularly anyone who has been heavily impacted by the Covid-19 disaster. Although I don't know any one here personally, I have spent a fair amount of time over previous years in The Dungeon, posting back and forth with some of you and getting to know you in our own way. My heart goes out to all of you and I sincerely hope everyone pulls through this with minimal stress and hardship. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones. May 2021 bring the prosperity that 2020 hasn't.

I've had a low-grade fever for 2 days now, but no other symptoms related to Corona. I've been quarantining for 4 weeks now. Think it's stomach flu.

I've been mostly off work the past few weeks. Now with a doctor note, I'll be home collecting pay for an additional two weeks. Time to catch up on some video games since I can't go anywhere or see friends.
Oh yeah, and also:
meat

Soda as well.

By a miracle it will all be managed by then. I'm thinking June is the earliest we start seeing things open and pocket about with infection risks.

So I got Mono and Stomach flu at the same time. Finally recovered from those, but now I have a horrible case of hypercalcemia due to vitamin D supplements I had been prescribed. So now all my lymph nodes in my upper body or swollen and I have a tonsil infection.
