SoR 4 DLC is out now? Sweet! Time to play.

Shiva is so broken, but so fun to play. I abused his alternate blitz to beat Mania+ with 7 lives in reserve  ;D His alternate star attack melts bosses if you use 3 stars at once.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

I’ve actually been selling off my collection, slowly. I’m still dipping in and out of Curse of the Moon 2, that’s about the only game aside from the first Ori (put it on hold) and Zelda LA Remake, that I’ve played since last year.

Hanging out for Metroid Dread and BOTW 2. Outside of this, life has changed a lot recently, so gaming taken a back seat.

Picked up Aliens: Fireteam Elite today and watched my bro take a stab at it. He's only done the first mission so far but it does look neat. It's nice that you can make a custom player character although the options are a tad lacking in terms of facial design. I'll give the game a try some time after he's done.

Final Fantasy XIII and Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana. I'm all caught up on Splinter Cell, so that's one gaming goal met this year. Might shoot for Yakuza and Dragon Quest in 2022.

Also, Kick Master for the NES. I'd love a 2.5D modern remake of it.

After hearing about Axiom Verge 2 I downloaded it for my Switch. It's just as bizarre as it's predecessor was, but for different reasons. These guys know how to put you into a world you've never been.

I literally JUST started streaming Dead Space on Twitch last night, and I've also been doing Mirror of Fate HD there this month as well.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Been playing a bit of Megaman Zero collection. I played the first two a lot back when they were new, but I never played any of the games after 2. I've heard more recently that 3 is the best in the series, so I'm looking forward to giving that a try after I finish replaying 1.

I've been playing Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu with my daughter. We've been having a lot of fun with it. Highly recommend it if you have a kid and want a fun and easy co-op adventure.

Playing my second run of Resident Evil Village just to see how far I can upgrade the best guns. I think I like this one better than RE7. The plot is nonsensical, but the gameplay is fun.

Just bought a Retron 5 so that I can enjoy upscaled graphics on a lot of my retro stuff. Played around with Batman and Robin for the Genesis. I suck at this game, but the graphical effects are absolutely amazing, especially on the Mad Hatter boss fight (which I had to level select to see). Absolutely LOVE the music. I gotta get better at this game.

I played Haunted Castle for the first time last night. I couldn't get past the medusa, even with infinite tokens.

Unfortunately, I don't have much positive to say, but I'm going to keep pushing through it until I reach the end.

Medusa is actually really easy if you have the bomb sub-weapon. All you really need to do is toss as many bombs at her as you can. Dodging the incoming fire and bats are somewhat impossible so just spam that sub-weapon until she dies.
