True, I enjoy that idea, I should be fine.

I could also claim that it's "poke-me-troid", and it just so happens to look like it spells "metroid", just as some weird excuse.

Usernames are fair use. It doesnt matter if they're in reference to copyrighted material.

But yes, name formats... That is a good question. I personally would think first to use my actual name but it is a valid point that if it is under the Dungeon clan, it would make sense to use the forum name, I guess.
