Castlevania Chronicles. Really good game imo. Up to Death's level at the moment.
It's really interesting that in the original NES game there's a machine/ lab which looks to be the birthplace of 'The Creature', whereas in Chronicles he's there unchained and all as a regular enemy.

Now I just have the "Ultimate Battle" ending and the bonus ending to beat in Contra: Hard Corps. Man, I friggin' love this game. Can't decide if this or Contra 4 is my favorite. At least in Hard Corps, you're not as bad off when you die and lose a weapon, whereas in Contra 4, dying in the wrong spot can totally kill your Hard Mode run.

Well after finishing Maxim mode in HoD I went back to give a crack at Albus mode. I'm doing something terribly wrong here i know it. Can Albus make it to the Large Cavern/Training Hall? If so I may just quit now and save myself the pain.  :-X

Albus mode Lvl 1 hard is godlike.
I always thought traversing the stages was harder on this mode with Shanoa, though re boss fights (Eligor and Blackmore) are much harder with Albus.

Up to Dracula in CV Chronicles, liking it.

Finished Final Fight on the emulators. Classic beat'em up, despite the action formula is really old though.

Also drew the conclusion of Rockman(Mega Man) X6. There is a Japanese PSN version launched at July 8, 2015, I bought it but it's not a revision like what Konami did to CV Chronicles, just being simply put the original game on PSN with no change at all. There is a rumor that Crapcom didn't want to launch it to PSN English region due to the copyright issues with Japanese songs used in the game, but I thought it wouldn't be that easy, Perhaps the poor translation quality, and other crazy things are also preventing a proper English version to be launched at PSN.

The epic long battle VS. Rosenkreuzstilette (Grolla) is almost over. Failed to rush another sub-40min IGT. Maybe I'll still play RKS but not to continue suck-ball activities any more. Both RKS and RKSF are really good games and I like the art style (Remind me the style of CV Chronicles) and Grolla's controll scheme (The high-speed thrilling dash action I've never experienced since Mega Man ZX was getting old enough.) I heard that there is a new project about the re-localization of RKS, I'm very exciting and waiting for the progress now

Whew. Went through all 5 endings of Contra: Hard Corps. Now I can shut up about it.

Topped that off with a playthrough of the "survival horror" game Don't Shit Your Pants.  ;D

Played a bit of Abobo's Big Adventure, but the upgrade to Windows 10 left my gamepad useless right now. Really hate using the keyboard on platformers.

Samurai Shodown VI, finally took down the bastard Demon Gaoh, oh so cheap. Shizumaru was the one I picked that finally did it, but took 2 damned hours to do it. Last few times I got to Demon Gaoh, he was undefeated against me, now he has 1 loss on his record against me.

Aceearly, thing is Capcom did release Mega Man X6 here in the west, on the PS2 with Mega Man X Collection all those years ago. They could've just straight up ported it to PSN without issue as the Japanese tunes aren't in it anyway from what I can tell.

Haven't played it cause it's not out, but is anyone else looking forward to the Mad Max game? Posting cause I think it looks great and looks like a proper Mad Max title.

Playing Star Trek: The Next Generation for the Genesis. Just got to the SS Nakatomi part and I can't find a walkthrough anywhere for the security lasers. Gonna be a lot of trial and error here...

Beat Mega Man 3, the version in the new MM Legacy Collection. It seems to be no additional content when you beat a game (The game I played is a cheap rip running on the PC so I'm not quite sure.)

Rosenkreuzstilette (Grolla) sub-38:** IGT run had been achieved, so that I can shut up about it. Finally!

Revisited Castlevania Chronicles JPN (No Miss Mode) and beat it, much like what I did in the past 3 years.
