No. Not what you think.

Just a little fun exercise replacing members of the Avengers with Playstation characters, seeing as Allstars is coming out later this year.

Here's my list:

Captain America: Nathan Drake (Uncharted Series)

The traditional guy, Nate is a man of simple taste. Rugged and unyielding, he suffers no villains, and is ever willing to put himself in harm's way to save others. Furthermore, he is amazingly fit for a man with no specialized training, he's versatile and a quick thinker in a crisis. Loyal to the end, Drake is a man you will want to (and probably should) put your trust and faith in.

The Hulk: Kratos (God of War Series)

Like the Hulk, Kratos is one menacing screaming rage monster. When angered by Ares, the God of War, Kratos embarked on a ceaseless quest for revenge that eventually culminated with Kratos massacring the Gods themselves. Absolutely a monster of fury, and definitely one you'll be glad is on your side.

Thor: Cole MacGrath (inFamous Series)

Besides the obvious electrical parallels, Cole is a man shaped by power, the misuse of that power, and the resultant consequences. When the impossible choice needed to be made, Cole proved he was willing to sacrifice his own comfort and happiness to save a city, and eventually made another, choosing to sacrifice himself to save mankind from a virulent plague. Truly a worthy successor to Asgard's very own God of Thunder.

Iron Man: Solid Snake (Metal Gear Series)

He's tough. He's adaptable. He's got a high tech killer arsenal of gadgets and one HELL of a suit to wear to meetings. Also a wee bit of a smoking problem. Solid Snake started off an unquestioning pawn of the Patriots, and eventually wound up a somewhat unwitting key player in the struggle to free mankind from their silent reign. Snake smokes, sneaks, and shoots his way to victory with the help of impossibly cool gadgets devised by his best pal and ally, Hal Emmerich, which include a multi-spectral camera eyepatch, suits that blend in with the surrounding patterns and textures, and a mysterious headband that gives him UNLIMITED BULLETS. And he saved the world from nuclear armageddon a few times. He may claim he's no hero, but he's done more heroing in the past two decades than half the world's armies put together.

Black Widow: Lara Croft (Tomb Raider Series)

Come on guys. I don't even HAVE to explain this one to you.

Hawkeye: Vincent Valentine (Compilation of Final Fantasy VII)

Traditionally a loner, Vincent Valentine works equally well on his own or as part of a team, whether he leads it or not. Proficient with many different kinds of guns from adventures spanning a long and storied career, Vincent bore witness to unspeakable barbarisms, the end and salvation of the world, and repelling a revolution that was partly anchored in his own past. Due to his training, he is excellent at striking from unseen positions and getting the jump on the enemy, but can just as easily confront them directly by taking advantage of abilities he gained through highly unethical experiments he was forced to endure decades earlier. A man you want watching your back, as his shots never fail to find their mark, and his targets don't tend to stay standing for very long.

How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Alec

Like Obi Wan, that's a name I've not heard in a LOOOOONG time.
I do tend to toss an online identity once it stops being fun, since they have hitherto cost nothing to replace. Plus it's fun to watch friends squirm. Bit of a sadist.

Anyway, topic successfully derailed.

I checked his e-mail on one of the IM Icons.  8)

Anyways, on topic, I guess that list of people would make sense for something like that.

I would pay to see Snake shouting "Metal Gear?!" with a disbelief face while using Iron Man suit.
