Useless features and apps

On half of the forums, social networking sites, etc. etc. do you guys even bother with the extra stuff, or do you just post or do the basic stuff? I tend to find that whenever I go on a site or forum there's always a ton of features that I'll probably never use that will post to my profile (or in a site/forum's case scrolling down till you find what you really need). I actually went off Facebook because I couldn't take all the extra stuff not to mention people finding me that I didn't want to due to that stupid "suggestion" feature. Sometimes I find they are more trouble than they are worth.

I only do the basic stuff. Post when I feel like saying anything about something.
As for Facebook, I use no aplications what so ever.. I only post a comment ever now and then.

Yeah I just like simple stuff also. Update status, post comments, etc. All those games get way too involved like Farmville.

I don't even have a facebook account so I'm not worried.
