Behold, our original flag.

This WAS the original, right?

How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Yo Englishmen, you know how we have always been more awesome than you with our republican form of government and cooler flag and our Mac and cheese? Here's a statue of our coolest prez Abe, put it on your parliament square to always remember that.

The main reason for the the colonies voting, and later fighting for Independence is due to the antics of one King George III aka George the Mad. It wasn't treason so much as it was desperation. The colonies were being strangled under his rule so I don't blame them for wanting independence. Not with a ruler like that anyways. And yes, good 'ol Abe one of the best leaders the world has ever known. Liberating Africans from slavery and strongly promoting a government of the people, run by the people, for the people. I'm sure he did more but these are the main ones I know off the top of my head.

Religion is Man's flawed interpretation of Spirituality given back to humanity..."
