Title: 2023 New Year's Resolutions
Post by: Hiryu on December 31, 2022, 11:21:01 AM
Hello Dungeon Family, what are your goals for 2023? Wanna get healthy, start a business, or do you have a pile of games you know you should get through before buying more?

I still stick to an old resolution I made years ago, not to have any more resolutions.

Try to lose weight through weightlifting, cardio, and calorie deficit. Although that's less of a resolution and more of a thing I always do until the inevitable injury occurs.

I’m making it a point to reduce my own rare collectibles this year. Not so much a business as extending my exisiting network online/ locally to either sell or trade(on rare occasions).

I went skiing New Year's Eve for the first time in probably 18 years. I resolve to do more of that this winter and every year going forward; I should've never stopped going.

Trying not to have such a negative outlook on life. Although it's been pretty hard to do that while a small group of peons runs & ruins everything behind our backs.

Quit smoking cigs. For the second time. At like,,, 5 days now?

Also buckling down and learning C++, time to make that game I've always wanted to make.

Don’t let the proverbial bastards and the moments of negativity grind you down. It’s hard, but it can be done!! There will always exist corruption, which is disconnected from us living our best lives. Peace and happy 2023.

EDIT(unrelated): I’m adding calling people out on their shit and speaking one’s mind.

You are gonna have a loooooot of fun that first year, all those sleepless nights. Then the older they get, the more expensive they get.  ;D ;)

Looks like I'll be an uncle again for the second time sometime later this year. My sister is expecting her second child is why.

Thank ya, thank ya.

Seems it was just recently you got hitched, all that was missing was Spig and his $34.  ;D ;)

This also brings to mind how old I've gotten, I remember when many of you were just kids (well not us two anyway), now these old forumers grew up and had kids of their own.

My balding, fat ass is turning 37 in a few weeks, what in the fuck.

Trying to have a kid but maybe too much Mountain Dew as a teen killed my swimmers.

Mountain Dew is not Nuka Cola... or is it?  ???

As for me, I've no kids of my own nor do I intend to have any. I've mentioned before about my two nieces and that's as far as I'm willing to go. They visit occasionally and that works out since I'm not the parental type of person. They're both gamer girls which also works out as well, lol.

LMAO I didn't think I'd be able to, but now we're having a lovely beautiful little girl.
Than again, I don't drink much MtDew... xD

Yup same here. My students are more than enough. LOL

Mt Dew is fine, but I prefer regular Coke. Japan's Peach Coke is still number 1 to me.

Isn't Mt. Dew an ingredient of Nuka Cola?

No. Here's the list: 'The ingredients of Nuka-Cola include: carbonated water, caramel color, aspartame, phosphoric acid, potassium benzoate (to protect taste), natural flavors, citric acid, and caffeine.'

If you want to talk about Nuka Cola Quantum then that drink also contains a radioactive isotope which gives it its glowing green-blue color  :P

Heh.. We’ll Coke can’t be that bad, between the end of 2017 - 2020, my celestial swimmers reached the promised land 3 times(discounting 9 months + recovery after our first pregnancy).. Those are pretty good odds for a Nuke drinker.
