And now the same poll, but for your favourite Castlevania game. And now I include them all, so no one feels forced to put a vote on a game it's not their favourite.
In order to make it more fun, I included every game that features a single Castlevania element I could find.
I realize now that we have 101 games with CV elements! ;D
Please explain the reason of the vote.
Sorry if this is the millionth time this poll is made, but I haven't seen it since I'm around.

My vote went for Portrait of Ruin. I've already explained more than once why I LOVE IT! ♥
-
So many masterpieces, how do you pick just one? x_x I'll probably wind up voting for Legacy of Darkness though, because it deserves at least one vote.

Pfil!
This is sheer torture! argh..... I have to think about this for a while before I vote.
-
If I could sound like Nathan Explosion I'd be saying this selection is Brutal!!
-
Hee hee! :P
Come on, 65 views and just 3 votes!
Keep on voting, I want to see results!
Pretty pleaseeeee!

Easily enough though my love for CV has long waned into other games and series from the past, CV 3 remains my all time favorite (CV1 is very close behind). This is one I could go back to if the CV urge ever bites me again.

I voted for Dracula X Chronicles, because as much as I love Rondo, I love the 2.5D remake just a tad more. It's an incredible game that offers a fresh take on a classic but also maintains the spirit of the original at the same time. Plus the source material is fantastic too and bridges the gap between classic CV and the exploration-based games.
Lords of Shadow and Castlevania 64 are close seconds though.

Not to mention that the original Rondo is also included in the package, as well as a version of SotN where you can finally play as Maria! (so far, only possible on Saturn).

... so veerrrryyy tempted to vote for the Tiger Electronic Handheld game...
But considering how low you set the bar for what counts as a Castlevania game, I'm surprised you didn't include Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Did you forget about Vlad Belmont the vampire?
-
Haha! Yeah those games were included more as a joke :P
But the Tiger electronic is a CV games, so feel free to vote for it :)

How long did it take you to make this Pfil? Anyways CV:III is my favorite.
-
Isn't it obvious from my favorite signature?

Just about 10 minutes typing names in the poll.

CV2!!!! Hands down!

No vote for SOTN? Im really impressed, hau auu~
I voted in HoD (HoD, not HoDespair)

For me, Aria of Sorrow is the pinnacle of the Castlevania series.

I had to be "one of those people" and go with IV. Easy, sure, but soooo much atmosphere and fun. It's one of those games where I can pick up at just about any time regardless of mood and just play all the way through, grinning ear to ear. When a friend of mine got really into it like 6–7 years ago, his buddy, him, and I would all take turns playing it and just talk about all the equestrian bullshit we mutually liked.
