Topic: Secondary Contests?

How about having two contests going on at once? There would be a primary contest and a secondary contest. The secondary contests wouldn't last too long (one month at MOST), because they would be fairly (like making a custom character with a standing animation). A trophy you could get from it ( we would need another trophy contest) would be smaller and less signifecant, but would still look cool. What do you guys think on the subject? Yay? Neigh?

Nice initiative, but that's asking alot for judges. Your basically asking for 6 judges each month for basically a spin-off of the same contest not counting the other judges for the 3-D contest and the music contest.

Sure some judges such as myself can judge multiple contest for some months but then we are basically asking for even more judges.

Right now once the music contest kicks off in January we could have up to 9 separate judges for each month's events. Doing it with another contest that would make 12 and that's pushing it if some judges are busy a particular month and can't do multiple contests.

No need to rush, lets first get in the mood and establish well these normal contests and then after that we can think about that. We first need to attract more people to it IMO.

Yeah, multiple contests haven't worked too well when we tried them on SI, and we've been doing contests for years. Dungeon contests are still in their infancy. Gotta learn to crawl before we can walk.

More contests would over saturate things. Calm down and take in whats there for now.

More contests might be neat sometime in the future, but I agree with the point that the others have made that we're still getting started here with these contests.  Maybe in a year or so, once we've got these down to a science, we can add a little more.
