OP is hypocritical and comes off arrogant in first YouTube link, within the first 40 seconds of watching:

No reason for anyone to bother with this, it's the same demo as it was several years ago, literally the same as the old gamemaker engine. Only difference is that Esco commissioned some really high quality sprites for richter.... only to then butcher them with horrible UI design and presentation.
I've personally stopped anticipating any release of this project. It's been a disappointment for almost 12 years in a row now.

Spritework is really solid, congratz to the artist. Not so sure about the gameplay.
There's so much unnecessary mechanics in this demo that it makes me feel like the creator doesn't really understand Castlevania, if you know what I mean. Why have cooldowns and extra resources? Hearts already do this job in a much more elegant way. I think that Esco is focusing on unnecessary additions that don't need to exist in this style of game.
In the end, it is his vision, and I hope that his project can see the light of day at some point.

Esco has issues as experienced here before his ultimate departure. At one time i was interested with what he was doing, but after what he willingly did? No. The Man (child?) needs some psychotherapy.

Not really a fan of the additional cooldown meter thing. Way too much elements unfitting to castlevania added and generally made it detached from what it tries to proclaim as some sort of SOTN remake. Lost interest since the earlier demonstration of this demo.
Speaking of what, the Mega Man X Corrupted fan project also kinda plagued by similar things; unfitting cooldown meter thing added, a somehow forced gameplay transition, longer than 10 years of development hell, developer wanna throw as many things as possible in one package, an a whole lot other stuff. But at least the X Corrupted side had made many significant development progress unlike here.

Esco used to post here way back in the day promoting this project. I admire his dedication but 12 years is a loooong time. And yeah I understand it’s basically only him working on it but he should have a solid release date at some point. Otherwise it’ll be 2033 and the game STILL isn’t finalized yet? There’s going to be no supporters left. It’s wonderful that he made a game for himself but if he can’t share it with anyone else then I feel all those years of effort will be down the drain.
