Where did you remember this one? It's one of my most favorite games!!

You could always use your soundcard's "what u hear" output mode. Then open up a wave editor or sound recording program, hit record and go to the level you want the tune from.
Cut, fade and done.
I used this method to rip Dracula's Shadow tracks, but I've since lost them... so I'ma gonna have to do it again.

Are you kidding? CastleQuest has to be THE worst game I have EVER played. One wrong move and that's IT THE END, game over, start it alllllll over again! Not to mention that dreadful music....

I think he means THIS one:

...and you're confusing it with this:

Castle Quest was (also) the name of a Castlevania homebrew by the same guy that did Dracula's Shadow. It's quite good and challenging; with a solid soundtrack (Belmont's Revenge's Ripe Seed among them).
You can find out more about those games here:

Also... LOL... Be sure to ty the 3D version of Castlevania Castle Quest:

LMFAO!!! That's EXCACTLY the one I was thinking of, lol... I wasn't aware of a CV hombrew called CastleQuest, I thought that ridiculous NES title. In a way, though, I does sort of remind me of a pre-mature Metroidvania mixed with Zelda and the old school 'vania's with some totally unfair-ness and crappy music.
