I know it’s all about the main story of Castlevania, but is anyone curious about the personal struggle of fledgling vampires of Tera and Mizrak? Two people who, while good, now confront a different ‘life’ in a way that goes against most of their moral ideals?
I would love a good in-depth character exploration from their perspectives.

Are these characters from the Netflix show Nocturne? It’s been a minute since I’ve watched it so I forgot almost everything but now that season 2 is out I’m going to binge it this weekend & come back with an opinion after

Goddamn, i managed to login on my account that i made 15 years ago...
We are relics of the past here OP. To us Castlevania was never about identity politics, black representation, female empowerment or having threesomes with random twinks.
Castelvania was an epic platforming metroidvania adventure to explore, have fun, beat bosses and jamming to some of the best soundtracks in gaming.
But that is not how it is today and i imagine 99 of the audience of the netflix propaganda hasnt even played SotN, let alone anything before it.
Its really sad that probably the only adaptation this series will ever get is riddled with political discourse.
But what do we care right? We are dinosaurs, on our way to extinction...

Can we maybe not post spoilers in the thread titles? Nocturne season 2 has barely been out for one week, and Life has kept me from watching more than 2 episodes.
Somebody get this guy a blue hat avatar.

My bad, shoulda caught this sooner. I edited the thread title to be non-spoilery.

Yeah this thread popped up overnight.
We have announcement specifically regarding new works' plot and spoilers.
Thank you, Gunlord.
Having said that, a 'good' person turning into a new life as a Vampire has been explored. To a degree, it has happened in the new Interview with the Vampire series (and the old movie with Brad Pitt as well), plus in shows like True Blood, where you have a good person that now has to be forced to feed on others to survive.
And then you have funny moments like in Hotel Transylvania, where Dracula says " Human blood is so fatty, and you never know where it's been! No, I use a blood substitute. Either Near Blood or Blood Beaters. You can't tell the difference."
I'd imagine eventually some kinda TrueBlood drink substitute would get clandestinely synthesized, eliminating the need to feed. If we can have synthesized meat substitute, it can happen with Blood. Or pay money and get Plasma.
But yeah back to Tera and Mizrak, they're going to have to get accustomed to their new life and cope with what's the morally right thing to do, while still being able to live. Most people in these cases would probably feed on criminals or 'bad guys' or something to that effect.
