The Castlevania Dungeon has been around since dial up (started on classicgaming.com/gamespy host) I even remember the original look. The site hasn't been updates with news/or anything in years and I've been seeing the forums get a 502 thing. I'm worried of this site, even though it's just a website, this site, even though a fan site: is actually apart of internet history. It's one of the original websites from the 90s still up and running.
So, just abit worried, don't wanna see these forums die, because its what helps keep The Dungeon still alive after all these years.

I feel you. I will say that I feel like I have things in common and have gotten to know a handful of members here, on one hand.
On the other hand - again, outside of a few members - I never really hear from anyone on here, even on an irregular basis, half the time the site seems to be down (perhaps partly because I'm in Australia) while I love the aspect of retaining older sites, writing reviews occasionally and so forth, a) there's been very little 'newness' in Castlevania for a very long time, and b) I assume the heavyhitters and olderheads like myself have moved on and are doing other things in life.
So yeah, it is what it is. Greatful for the admin, mods and anyone involved in keeping the forums alive.

The discord is still pretty active. I think it's happening to almost all communities in general: Discord seems to have eclipsed internet forums, since to a large extent it can serve their functions as well (separate discussion topics into different channels, everything is archived and searchable, etc). Here's an invite link if you want, maybe we can get a permanent one later :D

i’ve had my share of scares - just yesterday couldn’t load the forums, but fortunately it has always come back if you wait long enough. hopefully that will remain the case for a long time to come.

Just let me know if there are any issues and I'll send an e-mail to the webmaster.
Usually things get fixed within a day or two.
