Who here love Dynasty Warriors?
coz I DO!!
my god it's just amazing, if you really love it we seriously must start a conversation up about this!
does anyone know if there's even like a forum for it, coz i would seriously post too much ;)

the series as a whole from my experience:
dynasty:
played 5, which was excellent, and the handheld titles, which are not.
samurai: played the first, and the psp one. not entirely fond of this series, mainly due to castle stages. i definitely prefer open battlefields for this.
orochi: more awesome than a belmont...maybe. it's up there, and the few castle involved stages are forgivable. just don't make leveling everyone to 99 a goal, because that is some monotonous shit.

Despite that little has changed since Dynasty Warriors in 2000 on PS2, this series is still fun to me.
Like a space shooter, it's all about not getting hit and killing as much as you can.
The constant flow of more character and upgrade options makes it better with each new entry, too.
I can undertsand why people don't like it based on its repetition throughout the series, but that usually just means they never liked it in the first place anyway.
I also tried the Gundam one and it was pretty cool.

Yes. I love Dynasty Warriors. I even have a Guan Yu model statue. I've been playing Warriors Orochi trying to unlock all the characters. I even play the Japanese only Dynasty Warriors: Online game. Lots and lots of fun that one is.

LOL YES! His in game dialouge is also Jesus like. He is always speaking about the heavens and his teachings!
In Dynasty Warriors 6, when you kill an officer as him he says "THE HEAVENS HAVE SPOKEEEN!"

Lol, yeah is he like Jesus. he doesn't half piss me off though.
i mean he's a kinda alright guy when you can be arsed to play with him but otherwise he's a bit too easy to beat with any difficulty due to the fact that he's in the first stage!

You need to follow this guy's guide. It's pretty straightfoward, and once you get everything working it's lots and lots of fun.
The only thing is, the entire game is in Japanese, so you might not be able to interact with many of the players. The most english speaking players play on the Shu force, so join Shu (Liu Bei)
Wei is about to be wiped off the map. Lu Bu is dominating (He has his own force in this game), and Wu is losing strength.

my best character is pang tong, but i wei yan and, in fact guan yu has pretty minted moves for clearing shit outta your way.
what force are you with?

I'm with Shu and I serve under Zhao Yun. I use Zhang Jiao's staff, and Zhou Yu's sword as my main weapons.
