Used Game Stores and little mom 'n pop shops might have it. And Flea Markets.
Aside from that, you can probably only find that game on eBay.

Yeah. You can get it on Ebay for less than $10. It's really worth it, Dracula's Curse is loads of fun. Also, Jorge mentioned Flea Markets: they are also good. I got my CV 1 and 2 for NES at one for 5 bucks each.

Why don't you check the emulation section of this website for more information.

See here: http://www.amazon.com/Castlevania-Contra-Collectors-Collection-Games/dp/B000JU2VYY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1213988321&sr=8-4
It has all the nes Castlevanias and Contras, doesn't cost much, and runs really well (at least on my pc).

I'm waiting for Nintendo and Konami to get of their asses and release it for Wii VC, already!

Uh, that was annoying. Just difficult to play and very choppy with a heyboard control system... I prefer the NES.

stop spreading misinformation. only roms/link to roms aren't allowed, you can talk about emulation all you want.
-
Ok thanks. Now I know where I can find it. And a last question, I memeber for a game, but I don't know what is the name. You have to play with a red coin with black sunglasses.

Just a common misconception. I don't remember hearing anything against emulation talk, just against the posting ROMS themselves.

OK!! Now i got it! 8)

Personally, I think that Konami should remake Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse for either PSP or DS. This way people who don't have NES can play the game. After all, NES is hard to come by. The system is too old. Of course, the graphics would need to be enhanced so that they resemble the other 2D sidescrolling games like SotN and the sorrow games. I had heard that someone had tried to make a remake of it on their own, but it was never completed. Also, it was for the computer, which would mean playing with the keyboard and that the is blasphemy when it comes to Castlevania games. Well, at least in my opinion it is.

Correction, Konami needs to remake the Japanese version of Castlevania III. The VRC6 audio on it rocks, period. Also, they need to lose the Trevor thing too. So Raphael means "Messenger of God", big whoop. How many people knew that? Bet nobody knew they switched from Ralph (short for Raphael) because of that.

Um... what? Ralph and Raphael are two completely different names.
Raphael is from the Hebrew name Refa'el and Ralph is a variation of the German name Radulf.
-
I like the name Trevor better.

Yeah. That's like the only mistranslation I think turned out for the better. When I hear the name Ralph, I think of that whiney, complaining, kid from Lord of the Flies. But Trevor= awesome Belmont Vampire slayer.

Might depend on the locale then. In some locations I've been at, Ralph is used as a contraction to Raphael.

They do that in the USA a lot for some reason.
Trevor Ralph Cornelius Belmont = Epic name. :P
-
isn't that whole cornelius part a fanfic thing?
i never heard the c ever being uncovered except one time when someone mentioned cv3 and cva were being developed side by side, and both were supposed to star christopher. but then the cv3 team changed their minds and turned christopher belmont into ralph christopher belmont, then abbreviated it to ralph c. belmont.

Hmm... I did not know this. I thought it was short for Raphael, too.
-
Ralph is just the english version of the german name Ralf. Or perhaps it's the other way round. Also, Radulf doesn't seem like a german name. It seems more like celtic. Though german has some celtic roots, it's still more related to latin.
Sorry if I mixed anything up, I'm not really a smartass when it comes to history, nor am I a linguist.

Aww man. Back then, when somebody said "Trevor", my mind always equated it to a toad. >_> I got acquainted with Harry Potter long before I ever played Castlevania.
Now, I'm neutral on that name though. ;D
-
Oh right, Trevor the toad, the one character that was useless to the end. Should've had him eat the new reporter.
Anyway, Trevor is such an awesome name. Ralph just makes me think of ..... some rich kid with a selfish attitude.
