I was goin thru a bunch of old shit the other day in a room I use as a junk room basically. I rarely ever go in there (spiders /shiver) but while I was in there a few weeks ago I found an SNES DracX cart and figured Id see if anyone was interested.
The "as is" part of the title is because I have no clue if it works or not as I dont have an SNES to test it with anymore. Not a working one anyway. Its an old cart like every other NES/SNES game still around today so I cant really say. All my old nes games still work and I take pretty good care of my games and shit.
So Im gonna say "yes it works" but I cant make any 100% guarantees or anything. Id put it on ebay but not knowin without doubt if it works or not its really pointless.
I really have no idea what Id take for it but if anyones interested just reply and we can work it out. Ill take pics of it and post em if anyone wants.

You should put it on eBay within the next few monthes, I'd be interested, but first I'd have to sell some stuff in order buy a SNES. ::)
I buy stuff like that all the time, even if I'm not entirely certain(just the castlevania geek that I am, I trust just about anybody with something Castlevania related). Well, If can sell my stuff, get a SNES, and you do list this with a Buy It Now price considerably cheaper than all this $50 for one SNES cart crap I've been seeing, yeah I might be interested.
-
I'd buy it, except I don't like it.
So... kinda a catch-22.
-
I'dbuy it, except i can get it free and quicker through emulation.
-
Sure I'll bite how much you askin' for it?
-
I dunno you guys throw me a ballpark their goin for about 30+ on ebay atm.
-
I paid about $45 for a used copy of the game back in the early 2000s when I didn't even know it existed. :-X

$30? That's almost a bargain compared to what I've been seeing. A lot of 'em have been even costlier than PC Engine Rondo! :o
-
I'd like to have it, but, as you know, the european- and us-versions of the SNES are different.
-
yeah now their all 50+ on ebay.
-
I bought mine off of Thaddeus, otherwise I'd try yours.

Which is ridiculous. I might take it for $30, but first I have to get have SNES and such, but I have other priorities and no money. :'(
-
Well right now Im gonna say I want 55$ for it. I dont wanna put it on ebay cause I dont have a bank account so paypal wont like me very much but I dont wanna take a fuckin on it sellin it either.
So if anyone wants it for 55 itll cost ya about 60 total. Act quickly in lettin me know tho cause if the ebay ones keep risin Im gonna have to as well. Like I said I cant take a fuckin on it just cause I dont hate you guys =D
-
hmm no takers? =/
-
I'll buy it, u haxor
shoot me a PM or somethin
-
Well Ed found somethin else he wanted to buy more so this is still available =D
-
No one wants DracX for SNES /cry

Do YOU even like it?

yeah its ok. Its no Rondo tho. But I cant play it cause I dont have a workin SNES and dont really care to try to get one. Id rather just play it on my ps2 or somethin via emulation.
As far as sellin it Im doin it cause I know lots of ppl are collectors and its a rare game. I love CV but Im not much of a collector.
-
I'll buy it for $40 tops, including shipping. If you're not willing to sell for that price, then I suppose try selling it on eBay. And if you sell to me, I'd like to know if when you shake the cart if there's anything that rattles at all or if it's sturdy, and what condition the cart and label are in; and also, if it doesn't work (which I doubt would happen), if I can send it back and get my money back, or if it's a no-refund kinda deal (in which case I'll hate you forever (https://castlevaniadungeon.net/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fcastlevania.classicgaming.gamespy.com%2Fforums%2FSmileys%2Fclassic%2Fangry.gif&hash=a8cdcfca02aaa6fb43f894b74cc45b82ef00ce51)).
But seriously, I'd love to have that game, but I'm unwilling to pay the ridiculous eBay and Half.com prices. I'd give it a good home and you'd be happy with yourself knowing you helped a fellow CVDF member out. :o
-
I'll also send you peener pix as extra incentive.
-
Nope it doesnt rattle when you shake it. I cant let it go for that little tho sorry =/
-
Pfft, that "little." :(
Might as well sell it on eBay then, and I'll keep hoping for a Virtual Console release. :o

Yeah, that's what I said. Point is, Aridale, you have to go lower than 50 if you want to sell it. The ones on eBay may be listed for 50, but that doesnt mean they're worth it: Nobody's buying them. Plus, most of those are tested, guaranteed and with instructions and such. Yours is just an untested cart. Not that I or anyone else is trying to rip you off, just giving a bit of advice. ;)
-
well if someone wants to pay 50 Ill ship it for free but its gonna be 55$ total cause youll have to buy a greendot reload card for the 50$ and tell me the number. Its really easy if Laina ever posts again you can ask her I sold her my Wii the same way.
-
I don't think anyone WILL buy it for $50 'cos that's a really shitty amount to be asking. Honestly, my offer of $40 was being generous.
If you actually manage to sell it for $50-55, then good for you, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
A friend of mine got a copy a couple years ago for $12.
-
55$ for a cartridge you have no idea whether is working or not, without even providing a small picture?
40$ for a perfect-labeled cartridge are already too much; Abnormal Freak must be into charity or something.
-
Lol, you're both right. Aridale, it's a common mistake to see something on eBay selling for something and think it's worth the price. Some people are just crazy. Actually the Japanese Super Famicom versions are going for $30, and thats guaranteed and with the boxe and such. IMO, that's better than a cartridge only, no confirmation, not even a picture American version, and still worth the price. My best price would be $30, tops.
-
Well as for pics I said in the first post Ill take all the pics anyone wants if anyone cares. But since no one wants to buy it for like 20$ less than theres 10 or so goin for on ebay right now I dont guess it really matters. =D
-
What are you talking about? I just checked eBay and there are only three bids actually going on right now--one for a complete copy, with at the current bid adds up to $40 including shipping, and the other one being cart-only is only up to $40 including shipping. Then there's a so-called "brand new/sealed" copy which some crazy fuckers are bidding up to $160 right now. (Not even the PC Engine game is that much.)
Please point to me where these ten or so ongoing bids of $60+ are. You cart is quite honestly worth $30.
-
Yeah. I'm really obssessed with eBay, and I search for everything Castlevania-related on a daily basis, so you're right. It's definitely worth no more than $30, and honestly, most people wouldn't want to pay that, except for some hardcore CV fans.

The day I made this thread there was 3 goin from 50 to 70$ and 1 complete box set for like 100. I guess those ended now /shrug
Heres a screenshot of ebay right now as I type this:
(https://castlevaniadungeon.net/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg105.imageshack.us%2Fimg105%2F3687%2Fcvauctionsfr8.th.jpg&hash=0e5e52f4c016048d0ae04de9dfd7fcf71ab147d5) (http://img105.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cvauctionsfr8.jpg)
As you can see only ONE is 30$ And thats the lowest one Ive seen since I started this thread.
-
Just keep it then :P

Yeah but paying 50, I don't know 20-25 maybe. As much as I love Snes carts and actually playing the physical copy, it's just hard for me to justify paying that much for such an old game that I can emulate.

Yeah. $25 is more appropriate.
