A truly sad day... George Carlin was a brilliant man, and probably the best comedian ever.
-
WTF?!
That sucks.. He's one of my top 5 favorite comedians
-
yeah i just heard about it myself :'(
he was a funny man and i like him i didn't like his jokes about God at times tho.
but if someone does not believe in God its not like he's going to show respect for something he doesn't believe.
only thing i ever didn't like about him,he was a very funny guy and a damn good actor.
he will be missed

It is a sad day, today.
R.I.P George Carlin- May there be good 'stuff' for you with the Invisible Man up in the Sky
**changes IRC daily topic**

At least he'll get back all the wallet's that have been lost or stolen... y'know, minus the money.
79 pairs of sunglasses, 212 cigarette lighters, 4,983
ball point pens will also be returned to him.

What the fuck? Why even post in a topic that you don't know nothing about. Don't be obnoxious.
Do some research.

Don't put people down because they are uninformed. That's obnoxious.

A man who was a true man, never afraid to speak his mind, and funny to boot.
RIP Mr. Carlin, I shall have to watch one of your stand up routines in your honor.

agreed, I've been depressed all day after reading he passed away, he was only 71 and died so quickly, it's still hard for me to believe he's gone.
-
Yeah he went into the hospital that afternoon complaining of heart problems and died just a couple hours later... :( Way too fast.

Oh. Well then thank you very much Crisis. :)

he was just here a minute ago...
very funny man one of my fav funny men out there.
i'll have to download his new HBO show to show my respects
-
Indeed. The world is just that much more vacant without the laughter and gut-level hitting common sense the man knew how to dole out so damn well. He'll be missed, but his brand of ass-kickery will always be with us. Maybe even on our stereos and iPods too.
*imagines George getting high up in heaven with Jesus and Rodney Dangerfield* ^_^ Heee.

RIP he was an awesome guy. I've read a couple of his books that my mom owns. I guess he'll finally get to eat pork chops with Jesus in heaven now. :P
