I'd love for that to happen, but I doubt it will.

I hope, I could see it happening. But not to sire if it will.

What about news of the new resident evil CG film? Degeneration

Being as this is a cv forum, I'd guess people here are not as pumped for that as the Cv animated film.

I sent warren ellis (the writer) a message on myspace asking if he knew what was going on with it and he replied with this.
"I wrote it, I guess they'll produce it when they're ready. My involvement is over, I have no knowledge of what they're doing."
So who knows...

I dunno, I love Castlevania, but with all honesty, I would be more excited about a Resident Evil film than a Castlevania film. I obviously prefer Castlevania games by a mile (actually, a light year) but I've always been a fan of Resident Evil movies.

The resident evil films are garbage. This is a new cg film about the actual game characters. And we're not talking about the live action cv movie. We're talking about the animated one.

Their garbage as Resident Evil, but IMO, if you take out the RE references, characters, names and such, then give 'em a better bugdet+producer+graphics, they'd be a pretty good Zombie-Apocalypse Trilogy

Only the first one, after that the plot holes and cheesyness become far far to much to handle.

No, I think Apocalypse would have worked as a sequel, but you're right about Extinction, it was just totally cheesy.

The 2nd was just as stupid. Can you explain why the virus does not infect living people walking around unless they are bitten, yet somehow infects dead buried people, and gives them the strength to dig there way out of their graves? RETARDED

I mean if you edit out that crap. Also, as explained in Extinction, the virus seeped into the Earth.

By changing all of that they wouldn't be anything remotely similar to what they are now...you're basically saying they're garbage. Period.
If you want good zombie/ apocalypse movies just watch any of the "Of the Dead" Romero films (except "Land")

Is "Diary" any good? I've got all of em up to then, and dawns remake was a nice take! I'm usually not very excited about modern movie remakes.

Diary would'v been the best zombie movie ever, but the acting is so horribly bad. I mean like middle school play bad, that it really ruins the whole movie.
