Ever think they could be meaning Metroid Prime Hunters for the DS? GameCube is old news now, Nintendo and game developers stopped supporting it. Metroid Dread coming out? I highly doubt it but it could always happen with as much as people continue to want a Metroid Dread.

Well, make another topic when you get some real evidence.

Based on the fact that no other sites have picked up on any sort of leak, that DS logo is indeed referring to Prime Hunters.

Oh well, we still have MM9...

Are you sure you didn't follow an old link?

Also, you didn't say anything about Gonintendo in your post above. But they're usually a good source... so maybe there's something in it...

However I don't see it mentioning dread anywhere except as a speculation based ont he site being down. That is not enough to go off of.
