I just bought Resident Evil 4 yesterday, and it's awesome. I have a new found fear of farmers, become paranoid about any decent sized body of water, and decided to carry around a knife in my pocket at all times. Anyone else played it?

Haha, I know. It's just that I never considered getting it until now, so...
Dead topic...?

re 4's all right but after I killed the 750th zombie it started to get repetitive, some puzzles or something to break the repetitiveness from time to time would have been cool. I could only play through it once and I just haven't had a desire to go back through it.

I'm still in the beginning. I just fought my first evil parasite guy. Then, I went the wrong way and was attacked by about 10 zombie dogs and died.

Best Resident Evil game ever made in my opinion--it's the kick in the pants the franchise has needed for a long time. Enjoy the game, it's a real gem.

I love it. I played more earlier and made it to the castle. That makes me so sad though, I'm fighting those religious cult guys in the black robes now instead of farmers. Those farmers were so much fun to kill. Just curious - after you fight off zombie farmers with Louis, and they give you the option of which gate to go through, what does the gate on the left lead to? I took the one on the right and fought the el gigante.

you fight the Bella sisters. they have chainsaws and can surround you if your not paying attention. they might be a bit faster than Dr. Salvador but I'm not too sure about that.

Goodness, that's a scary thought. I'm glad I chose the right gate! Unfortunately, I'm stuck in the first level after entering the cult's base. Ashley keeps dying, as she dies in one hit. Those stupid guys dressed as demons keep launching flaming boulders at me... :'(

Your going to have to leave her behind to take out the boulder launchers. however, she may get snatched by some random person so make sure the area is clear and that's shes not standing by the door...I'm assuming you mean the castle.
I must say, i loved having to protect Ashley. There was a heightened sense of tension when she was in the picture. the best part was that it didn't feel like a flawed escort mission because she didn't get in the way.

I beat the level and now I'm in that creepy garden place with the dogs. I'm talking to the guy who looks like Captain Crunch now.

I beat the game a few days ago, and now I'm on my professional round. It's tough. :P
