Title: SotN Succubus
Post by: Amara77 on July 10, 2008, 07:26:57 PM: Here is my semi done Succubus (SotN based) doll She will be getting wings and different colored eyes (I was thinking grey with cat eye pupils, any suggestions?)
I will take better pics with my camera (these came from my cell phone so they are pretty crappy but take a peeK)

You're welcome! what are you using to make her? Did you get one of those plain dolls they sell at craft stores and and get some hair hair or something? Are you going to make the clothes yourself?

They have tons of different molds (boys too), because they've gotten so popular. Once upon a time there were only a handful of different types. I've actually seen one made to be Alucard.
Her hair is a wig that I styled. and I found some stuff to make the thorn wreath then twisted on flowers.
Sadly I cannot sew only paint. I am commissioning her corset

Post by: Patraw on July 11, 2008, 02:43:42 PM: Looks great and nice to see someone doing Castlevania toy customs. What are you going to do for wings? They'll definitely make the figure very top heavy, even if they're extremly light.

I customized about five Barbie dolls in the past into various video game/toy characters, but never into Castlevania characters.

I think the boy dolls tend to look too girly personaly

My succubus is pretty solid. She's mmade form pure resin ans she's about 2 feet tall, she can stand by her self anyway so I don't think the wings will be too much of a problem.

If you customize with barbies you should try obitsu dolls 27 cm they come with completely blank heads in realistic and anime-ish molds so you can root their hair as well in any color and style I've made quite a few I need a battery for my camera so I can take better pics.

I made the succubus coz I've been obsessed by her since this game came out. Thats a VERY expensive doll you guys are looking at!

Yeah, I am a guy(heterosexual,) but I collect 1/6 figures and know a thing or two about dollfies.

BTW, for those who are not familar with the 1/6 figures, I think the normal ones run around 10-20, depending on what parts you buy

Very nice! Something is a tad off with the corset, it should like a little more like it's actually propping up the breasts, but it just sorta sits there. Still, that's incredible!

Meh, Jorge did something like that before, with his Succubus portrait he made, so it should be fine.
