All I really knew was that I didn't like the GBA logo (2) much. I voted for the original, but it was close between 1, 3 and 4.
-
My order:
1:Original
2:Current
3:GBA
4:Movie
-
Original it's colorful and stands out, I'm glad this is the one they went with for outside JP when Dracula X chronicles was released.
-
I like all of 'em equally.. the GBA logo has like a Halloween feel while the current one sets the mood perfectly. The movie one is what I expected from a typical movie poster, and the classic logo only belongs to the select few oldschoolers left, such as myself ;)

That's logo 3 (although they do use logo 1 on the back of the box, if that's what you mean).
Or do you mean somewhere in-game?

the movie fonts not bad, it's definitely a gothic font, which fits the series, but you would think more diablo than castlevania with that font.

Yes, I have to agree with you.
I chose the original for three reasons:
1. It's the original
2. It's cool looking and I like how they used the colors
3. They also used that logo for Castlevania 64! :D

I like the GBA one; the medieval font and working a cross into the logo, being as one of the main things I like about Castlevania is the use of Religion.

I think it's actually more like a sword, but I don't know...

Yeah, it looks more like a sword, but I could be wrong.

It might be claim solais!! :P

Nah, it's too thin. Claimh Solias is a big broadsword.

I'm talking about on the title screen of the PC-engine port. :)

The current one in baby blue.

The Original Logo, the N64 Rendition, is the best one in my opinion:

I agree 100%

I think I like the original NES one the best. Second would be the new one, from CoD or DXC... can't really choose...

The original design is best. Such a cool logo for a very cool name. It always weirds me out when looking at the label on the top of the cartridge to the first game, with its lowercase C.
I remember Vic Rattlehead long ago posted an image of what was quite obviously the inspiration for the original CV logo. It looks almost exactly the same, same border and very similar font. He ripped the page out from a library book (lol) and scanned it, though I can't remember if it was the title of the book or the publisher. Wish I knew the name of it and had that image.
Also, no option for the Super Castlevania IV logo? Really? I suppose that would classify as the "Other" option, which is kind of strange 'cos I can't think of any more besides that one (unless you count Castlevania Chronicles, which has the same font but without the border).
The absolute COOLEST logo in the series, however, is the Super Famicom Akumajou Dracula one. I know it's not technically a "Castlevania" logo, but I thought it deserved mentioning. Made especially great by the dripping blood.
And I'll never understand why for the North American versions of the last two GBA games they raised the cross T in the logos. The Japanese versions look way better.

The original logo, the Castlevania Ressurection one to be specific. ;_;
I like how they made the 't' a cross in the GBA games. Gave them some personality.

Current one for me. ^^
