Title: Castlevania:Tribute !!!
Post by: DarkBlaze on August 11, 2008, 09:49:43 PM
Hey guys, this is my first post on the site.Allow me to introduce myself-My name is Emanuil, and I'm a beginning guitarist from Bulgaria.I've been a fan of Castlevania for quite some time.

So,the matter at hand-I'm working on a Metal arrangement of Castle Corridor from Aria Of Sorrow. So,my idea is.I'm sure I'm not the only metal musician here,so let's record our arrangements of famous Castlevania songs, and make a Tribute CD !It doesn't have to be a real CD,just something from fans to fans. So,how does it sound to you guys ?

Hello and welcome.

The problem with this sort of everyone contribute thing is that the songs will all sound different from eachother.

But let us hear some of your songs anyway  ;)

If you've made 3 posts you can post a recording in the "Fanstuff" section.

Thanks ! I still have some work on the arrangement, but when I do I'll record it.Actually my idea WAS for them to sound different.Besides, with a little mastering,it can be fixed  ;).

I have some renditions of music from CV1 and 2 that I was messing around with last weekend:

Dwelling of Doom is pretty hard to play on guitar :P

I've made an MP3 of Castle Corridor from AoS (I even can make the sheet music for it) but it sounds almost exactly like the GBA version only with better instrumentation.

You can hear it here (http://eiac.paragonsigma.com/mirror/fuentes/CVAoS-_Castle_Corridor.mp3).  :O

Again, it's not really a super-special arrangement or anything.
