Title: cv2-rage
Post by: erimocard on August 13, 2008, 06:46:25 PM
Today I bought a white crystal. Then I traded it for a blue one, which is important for seeing invisible platforms. Later I went back to buy another white crystal, only for having both crystals in the inventory. Guess what happened.

RIGHT. THE BLUE ONE GOT REMOVED FOR THE WHITE ONE. AUTOMATICALLY.

Also, fuck you illusion-ground, fuck you day and night-system.

Sry, just had to get that off my chest.

When I saw the title of this post I immediatly thought of Streets of Rage 2 teaming up with Castlevania

I can just imagine Skate teaming up with Simon Belmont to battle Vampire street thugs...

All of this means you fail at cv2 and thus life.

Yeah, you can only have one crystal at a time, but really, the only invisible platform that you need to see with the White Crystal is the one at the beginning of the first mansion.

I didn't want to use it. I just wanted to possess it. Nothing more. Also, the platform you mean is seen when the blue one is worn. I think the white one is only for trading it for the blue one.

No actually.

The WHITE crystal is for seeing invisible platforms (in Berkeley Mansion).

The BLUE crystal is the only way you can sink the water at the Lake, in order to enter Rover Mansion.

the RED crystal does the same thing only at the other Lake near the Waterfalls.

They all actually do what the one before it did as well as somethin new. Aka the white crystal makes you see the singular invisible platform (I always buy holywater first then after I beat that mansion I buy the white crystal as I save up for my morning star)

The blue crystal lets you go under the lake as well as see the invisible platform. The red crystal calls the tornado will let you get under the lake AND see the invisible platform.

No, if you trade and try to go to Berkeley Mansion with a Blue or Red Crystal, you will not be able to see the platforms.

I played the mansion just before I wrote this thread, WITH the blue crystal and I DID see the platform. No mistake there.

Wow.  Try it again with the Red Crystal.
If you see 'em, then I make a retraction here and now.

But I recall going back and not seeing 'em after trading the white.  I could've had the blue or red though.

;D yeah you only fork over cash for the first one the rest you trade for. Hence only one slot in the inventory for a crystal.
