yup it makes sense, notice in CoD, time travel is confirmed
possible and existant in the lore. So Charlotte after POR is definitely crafty enough to invent time travel a year later. and since she is the only character cooler than Alucard and Trevor, she's definitely the only one who can defeat Dracula once and for all! :)
It's a definite that Charlotte would master magic and alchemy in a flash and surpass the need for the vampire killer and glyphs and other stuff!
Yeah Julius is powerful, but I'm sure the twist in 1999 is that Belmonts can in fact not finish Dracula once and for all, they can only stop him for a time. So the key lies in Charlotte's awesomeness to save the day! ;D
and remember St. Germain is only an observer. he works under Charlotte definitely cause no one is smarter and cooler and hotter than Charlotte Aulin! :) well maybe Shanoa can rival that but I have a feeling Shanoa will be seduced by Dracula's power and become a loyal succubus. ;D well at least in one of the endings and stuff.

Are you drunk? Or high?
-
This topic is so.... random.
-
See the title newbie under his name...it all makes sense. I'll just disregard everything he just said, can't wait till Serio sees this =P.
-
I believe I can hear Serio having a stroke. :o
-
I'm looking forward to seeing what Mina's dad is like and what his name is. He's the one who ultimately defeated Dracula (with lotsa help, of course).

I doubt that Charlotte would use time travel to travel to the future and defeat Dracula. Also, she would be to old if she just waited for time to pass. In PoR, she was 16 and that was in 1944. Fast forward 55 years and unless she time travels, which I doubt, she would be 71 years old. Way too old for a human to fight Dracula. If anything, her child or grandchild will assist Julius Belmont, Alucard, and the priest from that shrine in Japan (most likely Mina's father or grandfather). As mentioned before by someone else, the author of this topic was most likely either high or drunk, maybe both. It is the only way this would make sense.

That's how the Japanese initiate fellatio (read: blow job). The woman is merely making a respectful presentation of her partner's member. It is proper etiquette to treat it as a third party and to "invite" its presence into the woman's "home". Therefore it is popular belief that fellatio is akin to a m

if anyone could travel through time, the easiest thing would be to put mathias out of his misery once he learns of elisabethas death.
-
I could see Charlotte being involved in the defeat of Dracula, but she wouldn't have to time travel. She'd be old, but she's young during WWII so she can still be alive in 1999. Julius defeats Dracula....that would just go against Belmont legend if somebody else was able to achieve it...and not to mention it'd be totally lame if someone else did him in

Mina's dad did not defeat dracula. it says in DoS that the priest's (plural) of the Hakuba shrine figured out how to seal the castle in the eclipse, so that Julius could kill him.

*slaps saner*
What the hell's gotten into yo head, boy?!
This topic is seriously lulzworthy.

...That's her dad. D:

In Dawn of Sorrow, it says "priest" in the library entry for the Battle of 1999. Quoting from gamefaqs "The Battle of 1999 - The battle that permanently destroyed Dracula. Nostradamus's prediction of the King of Terror was for Dracula's resurrection. However, the priest of the Hakuba Shrine sealed his castle within a solar eclipse, cutting Dracula's soul from his power and thus freeing it from the chains of destiny." Mina is described as "Soma's lifelong friend and the sole daughter of the Hakuba Shrine's priest."
Charlotte does seem to have a large role in the defeat of Dracula though (if she lives up to everyone's expectations). The Portrait of Ruin manual says about her "Has great magical power, and is seen as the potential final weapon in the battle against Dracula." I do wonder how she will be able to contribute. Everyone knew that Dracula would rise in 1999, so why would they think that of her? Maybe she did the research that gave them the idea to get the shinto priests involved? That has nothing to do with her power though. Umm, or she could have time traveled...
-
ya plus Charlotte is awesome enough to produce youthful
immortality through her magic and new magic! XD XD XD
YEAAAAH! CHARLOTTE!!!! Charlotte!!!!!!!!! Glory to you!!! GLORY TO YOU!!!!!! *Peace sign* *magic sparkles*
-
Charlotte's a harpy!
Yeah, I said it. >:(
-
who is charlotte?
...sorry, she's just such a minor side character i totally forgot she and her morris sidekick existed. :(
-
I'd love it if they made a game about the last battle against Dracula in 1999. You could play as Julius, though a young Julius. I think it'd be sweet~

Charlotte x St. Germain = possible fanfic material?
-
She could definitely live long enough. And since youthfulness isn't necessary for being a great magician, I could totally see that she joins the final battle against Dracula. Maybe as a sort of support mage or something. Exploiting Dracs weak point so that the less fragile characters (Julius and whoever) can weaken him, so the priests can finally seal him in the eclipse.
-
Perhaps some time after PoR, she moves to Japan and gets married to a Japanese guy and they have a child who becomes a Shinto priest. The same Shinto priest who seals the castle away in 1999. It's possible, but I don't know the likely-hood of it.
-
it would have to be a lot longer. a year after pork america bombed japan with nukes, and i guess after that they'd hate americans with passion for many years.
hell, even today many moon people still hold a grudge and hate usa because of that. :o
as far as i know charlotte's american, since she was supposed to be the morris kiddo's childhood friend, and those usually are of the same nationality. her last name, when read how it's really supposed to be read before japs engrished it (orlean, aulin's just japanese way of saying that) sounds kinda american to me.
-
Orlean is as french as Charlotte.

nah shanoa is a much better character than charlotte and should be the one to kill drac in 1999. shanoa has far more story potential than any cv character to this day.

Thats a new one, when I asked it was still Charlotte and Johnathon, but it looked like John was getting bitch slapped by a guy with a paper bag over his head.

Yeah. That's basically what was happening in the sig.

It's a cardboard box though.

Charlotte x St. Germain = possible fanfic material?
Nah, some sicko would more likely do St. Germain x Zead.
-
Wasn't Zead really Death in disguise? It probably would be something like how St. Germain got his time traveling ability.

Julius already said that he beat dracula in 1999 and sealed him in the moon.

Oooooo, braiiiin.

Omg... lol
I just remember that St Germain said something about the last battle but im sure that would be the 3rd Somavania or something after that

No, that would be Julius' battle of 1999. :P
-
Julius already said that he beat dracula in 1999 and sealed him in the moon.
nah he lied, he stole the credit from beautiful immortal
time traveling Charlotte who did all the work herself. ;D
-
Julius already said that he beat dracula in 1999 and sealed him in an eclipse.
Corrected.
-
Lol, sealed him in the moon... :P

Julius already said that he beat dracula in 1999 and sealed him in a solar eclipse.
Fixed moar.

Only in Castlevania can one man find the means to lock an ancient evil masquerading as a caped megalomaniac away in a rare cosmic phenomena that occurs on a not-so-regular basis. And so conveniently too.
In the words of Sulaco- - *morphs* Anymore convenient and it'd have a purple tentacle up your ass massaging your pelvic muscles. *un-morphs*
And in my words may I just say, I'm surprised this topic has stretched beyond the first page.

bahahaha, the only thing Charlotte is good for is that sexy little pose she does.
Come on, we all know Sypha is 100X more badass than Charlotte.
But if time travel somehow came into play in the 1999 game, that would just be fucking weird and like they lacked the proper storyline.
But IF they had to do it, I just pray, and pray harder that Richter isn't who they choose for it. Richter's cool and all but goddamn I'm sick of him being in all these games.
IGA STOP FUCKING RECYCLING SPRITES!!!!!!!!
-
Hey, maybe Germain and Aeon will choose Rinaldo? :D
