Hi. It's been a while since I posted on the boards. I have a copy of Dracula New Classic, which I really love, but finances are getting tight so I might try and sell it. Just wondering what people think the cd is worth? By the way it is a legit copy, serial number KICA 1103.
Sincerely,
David

Let's just say that is the most rare official Castlevania arrange album released by Konami.
It's worth a lot. I have never even seen a sale for it. I had to track down a rip of the cd instead.

Thanks. It's good to know that it is rare, but worth a lot is a little vague. Would $100 CAD be considered a lot?
Sincerely,
David

I think that I may have seen it on itunes for $9.99

Hi. I checked Itunes and could not find it in either Itunes USA, or ITUNES Canada. If you did see it could you post a link.
Thanks,
David

$100... yeah, that's probably about right, but I still doubt anyone would pay it. I would, If I had that much money, but most people don't have the extra cash lying around either.... you may have to go somewhere from $50-75. While you should be getting more, people are corrupt... and don't want to pay what things are worth....

Your statement doesn't make sense, because in all reality things are only worth as much as people will pay for them. if no one will pay $100 for it, it's not worth $100.

I'm not reading that entire page, if you have a point state it.

I have heard some say it's gone for more than $100 or even $200. But who knows from what time this was noticed, as the market for demand changes, or if it's even true.
It's a great CD, and people have to hear it in lossless to understand how strong it is (this goes for any good orchestral production), but I'm not sure a rather obscure orchestral 90s arrange album is in that high of demand these days when ppl can find MP3s of the thing quite easily. Also, since then the market has been flooded with similar orchestral releases from many other companies; so this album struggles to find its identity. Another problem is that the cd is pretty short for a symphonic album.
What can't hurt it though is the fact that it is still the only official orchestral arrange album from Konami for Castlevania. You won't hear "Vampire Killer" or "Wicked Child" this way anywhere else. There's a bit of that 90s new age flavor peppered over the production, so its decidedly a different sound from most other CV albums.
SOMEONE out there would be willing to buy it decently high, and you literally have next to no competition: like I said I've never seen a sale of it. But it could take awhile to find a buyer. My advice is to just keep reposting it, lowering it a little each time.

Hi. I did find a buyer so it is conditionally sold. I still need to take some pictures of it and send them to the buyer before sale is final. I hope to complete that this coming week and have it sent off on Friday, if all goes to plan.
Sincerely,
David
