Looks like they are making a line of figures for Judgment.
They're a little expensive, but that's never stopped me before. Hopefully, if these sell well, they might expand the line to include other CV games and character designs.

Hmph!
Certainly looks better than the other figures they made. I hope Trevor looks decent in Obata-style, a figure of him would be cool.
-
sweetness. every time i turn around, there's a new Castlevania product. wonderful.
i thought the earlier models they released in the states were pretty good. i ordered some, but they never came, so i am sad.
-
appears to be a resin or pvc model kit than an action figure
-
Figures?
-
I'd rather have a Shanoa/Albus figure than an Obata-Simon, but meh. I'll just not buy it.
-
Well, in the page says that the figure will be on sale in the Konamy Style event.
And yeah, "figures" is correct, it says too that they are considering to prepare more models.
The name of the figure es MASTER COLLECTION CastleVania: 1/8 Simon Belmont.

*Looks around*
*Sees Simon*
Me: What the hell have those animals done to you, man?
Simon: Dude..pal..end my suffering..please..
Me: *cocks gun* You'll be remembered as you used to be. I promise. *gun blast*

Pff, I guess it's not Vania fans who petitioned for these, but Death Note fans...
-
Maybe this way Judgment will bring in some bigger b

About $71.00
It doesn't come out until February though. Gives you time to save up I guess.
-
I'd buy a 1/8 Maria if it weren't for Obata's over-the-top redesign that makes her look absolutely nothing like any of her previous incarnations.
-
Well, I want it.
If they make some for the cast of Dracula's Curse, I'll totally get those.
CVIII, best game ever!

You cant hump it man... it isnt life size =D

The unpainted figure looks good. Though that can be said about the NECA CV figures. Remember when we seen all the unpainted figures? They ALL looked pretty badass without the paint, then something was lost along the way after the details were added on. Though I trust the end result WILL look a lot liek Obata's design. Still, I've NEVER been one to buy none articulate figures. If I'm going to pay for a figure, and it's THAT expensive, it better be multi-jointed and come with a slew of accessories, cause I can get as much enjoyment out of an jpeg I saved of Obata's original Judgement Simon design, and THAT's both free and doesn't collect dust! Just make a wallpaper of it and see it whenever I'm on the ocmputer!

1/8 scale + No visible articulation points = It's not an action figure, buddy.
-
But that's what I mean, and I don't mean action figure in the literal term. A lot of Japanese figure companies, particularly, specialize on posable figures. You can also, in a way, call them posable models, cause they resemble those more as far as scale is concerned. But no, I've never been one for unmovable figures. They probably make great collector's items, but I can't ever see myself even WANTING one. That's for other people's tastes.

statues and pvcs are popular in asia and the price is simply cause they are normally made in small numbers and do not use abs plastic. It is actually the norm for a statue like that to be priced above 50.
-
to me depends on your gayness i guess, since reguardless their both the same person which is creepy when you compare them

I agree with that! I mean, both designs could be considered "gay". One's an effeminate, metrosexual prettyboy, the other is a bustling, cut manly man. ;D
