Title: Castlevania Overload (in a good way)
Post by: Reinhart77 on October 10, 2008, 03:32:29 AM
My gosh, keeping up with all the Castlevania stuff they're dishing out is getting crazier and crazier now more than ever.

Yeah, this is a pretty awesome overload except for two things that disappoint me:

1. We probably won't see the arcade game come stateside

2. As awesome as the Pachi-Slot video is, it's not a remake of Dracula's Curse or Curse of Darkness, its a damn slot machine.

Everything else I'm totally pumped for

Oh, there were two items that I missed.

First, Glu is remaking Aria of Sorrow for certain cell phones.  Its hard to imagine Aria of Sorrow work out well when Order of Shadows didn't have a lot to work with, but I'm guessing that the cell phone platform this game would be on would be for special cell phones which are designed to play higher end games, rather than just any old cell phone.  I haven't heard anything on this for a long time.

The other is an ESRB leak of Castlevania Chronicles on the Playstation network.  It'll be cool to be able to be able to store it on a memory stick and play it on the PSP whenever you want.  If you had a PSP with the Dracula X Chronicles in the disk slot and Castlevania Chronicles and the original Symphony of the Night in the memory stick, then you'd be able to play six different Castlevania games (2 versions of the X86000 game, 2 versions of Rondo of Blood, and 2 versions of SoTN).  I don't see either game on the Playstation Network as downloadable games right now though...
