Title: I wish Shin Dracula X had been real

I yearn for a 2D console sidescroller with lush graphics and sound. Playing as Richter in his trenchcoat would be badass. I don't care what the story is or if it's unfeasible for Dracula to have been resurrected a third time in just a few short years, I just wanna PLAY IT.

I second that. It looked amazing. The PSP remake of Dracula X was sort of in the ballpark, but it was limited by its source material. ...Still, I don't want a new 2D home console game at the expense of the chance at a really good 3D version of Castlevania. Ideally, we can get both some day. (It wouldn't be impossible; especially considering there was somehow enough resources to go around for Order of Ecclesia, Judgment, and the new PS3/360 title. Though, the true quality of any of these 3 has yet to be seen, and I remain skeptical).

Me, too. Well, who knows what the XBLA or WiiWare scenes will bring, thanks to the success of stuff like Castle Crashers and Mega Man 9.
