I've decided to put it in it's own thread so it will be easier to find for people that want it.
If you need me to upload it a different way, just let me know and I'll try.
Megaupload:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6FF048V0
Final Version. Track names are now corrected, many thanks to Aziela.
(Megaupload: For those that get confused on how to download it:
Just copy the code in the right corner into the box beside it then click download. Ignore the link in the corner on the right on the next page: go to the picture in the middle of teh screen where you can choose to download as a 'Premium' or 'Free' member, let the button/link download under 'Free' and once it's down, click it to download.)
-
Thanks! Cool. I really want the tune for this level:
highlight (Spoiler): Giant's Dwelling
LOVE that song, and the whole mood of the level in general..
-
Haven't played the game yet, but I'm liking some of the tunes. Are there even more songs than the ones that were uploaded last week? Anyway, my favourites so far are the tracks named "base", "castle" and "ocean" (not to be confused with "sea1" though, I'm not digging that as much >:(). I have no idea where in the game they go, but it doesn't matter, they rock anyway. :D
-
I'm coming, I have to translate the names of each track before I can put it in a zip folder. :P
-
Nice can't wait to download.
-
A few questions:
Is it the CD released with the bundle in Japan?
If so, are there two CDs like the POR OST--one for the game music, the other for arranged versions?
Is the bitrate 192kbps or higher?
-

Kamirine, if you've beaten the game, just open up Sound Test, and it will give you the proper names of all the songs.
Should make it a bit easier on you.

No, the CD contains merely six arranged songs.

No this is the actual OST, not the preorder sampler.

A few questions:

Yes.
If so, are there two CDs like the POR OST--one for the game music, the other for arranged versions?
No. The entire thing is 2 disc, however the last few songs are arranged versions of certain picked songs.
Is the bitrate 192kbps or higher?
No. It's 160 but if you'd like, I can try to do it at 192 or higher. (My burner has the option but I just chose the default.)
And thanks Aziela, but I actually found it. I think:

I just copied it from there.

In Reply To #9
Yes, but the final six songs on the second disc are arranged versions. All the others are the DS-versions, unfortunately.
Anyway, thanks a lot Kamirine! A really appreciate it! =D
-
In Reply To #10
Well those aren't the correct names x_x.
Sort of why I suggested using the game. Unless you didn't get an American copy, which makes my suggestion pointless =/
-
In Reply To #12
I figured. A lot of them sounded WTF as I was typing them. Yeah, if you don't mind, please post them so it can be corrected. I think it might have been a direct translation of the Japanese names by the person. (Cause Jet Black Wing is the direct translation of that track's name when I translated it on the Konamistyle site.)
-
I'd greatly appreciate 192kbps MP3s or AACs (the latter preferable) ripped using Variable Bit Rate (VBR). If it's not too much trouble, that is. Beyond 192, I can't really hear much between the MP3s and the actual CD, but 160 sounds considerably poor to me.
So yeah, up to you, but I would lubz yew forebberz if they were VBR 192kbps.
Hopefully that OST will get released on its own, 'cos then I'll buy it.
That's too bad about only a few songs being arranged. It's really fun with POR(n)'s soundtrack to hear the differences between the two versions. Some songs I like the arranged tracks more, while others I prefer the DS tunes.

I'm uploading it for you on Megaupload. It's 192. ;D
-
Yaaaaaaaaaaay :)
Will gleefully download when it's ready. Thanks!

Your welcome. Just look at my first post.
-
Wow, thanks! Got it now. YOU ROCK!! Man, I realize more and more how great the music and tone is on this game. The quality is so great with headphones. Love the basslines..
And notice that cool distorted guitar effect on the song for the Waves Crashing Sea level?
-
I just hope that there won't be some disconnect shooting my DL. 20 kb/s =_=

I'm uploading it for you on Megaupload.

The 192 upload is the bottom link on the first post. Just click the link, enter the three-letter code it requests towards the top, and begiiiiin downloading once it prompts you to.
-
Who go so low as 192? 320vbr is far superior.
-
There are quite a few tracks, and I would have to do the transcribing myself.
I can't honestly do it right now, but eventually I will be able to compile all the proper names for the tracks(in the order they appear in the sound test).
Not sure if that will match up with the order they appear on the OST though.
Not to mention if there are arrangements I would have to figure out first what it is an arrangement of.
All in good time I suppose, but I think I'm a little bit late on the assist? Unless you honestly want to reupload it once I get all the names?
-
In Reply To #22
Personally, I think anyone who claims to hear more with 320 vs. 192 is only tricking themselves into thinking they hear more. Who knows, maybe you've got excellent ears and really superb equiment and are some kinda audiophile, but I honestly can't hear that much of a difference--not big enough to warrant the amount of disk space needed, anyway. I listen to all my music on my iPod, and I own a lot of CDs, all ripped at 192 VBR. Already I've filled up my 80 gig iPod two different times, having to delete a bunch of stuff, and I like having the music I listen to on my iPod at all times. Having my music at 320 would greatly reduce the amount of music I have on the thing.
But for me, listening to VBR 192kbps AACs on my iPod using my KSC75 headphones sounds lovely. I only wish the KSC75s had more bass, but whatever, they only cost $12, and are EXTREMELY good as far as budget 'phones go.
As for a proper track list: Perhaps one will be submitted to Chudah's Corner soon.
-
Oh, Kamirine, Thanks of upload this great OST.
Still in love with Mountains and Prison themes...
-
In Reply To #24
I can hear the different with a cheap set of 10$ headphones from Walmart. It wont matter for the DS original songs, but for the arrange ones it does matter.
-
I just hope that there won't be some disconnect shooting my DL. 20 kb/s =_=

I'm surprised the English text doesn't say Akumajo-Doracula like with the DXC OST. :)
-
I can tell the difference between the CD's version of the intro track and the mp3.
But that might just be because my computer is inferior to the sound system. :<
-
Hi Kamirine, did you tagged the track names? Is there a English tracknames list in the booklet?
-
Add me if you have the game =D
-
In Reply To #30
No, it's all Japanese in the booklet. The names on the songs were from what I found on a website but apparently, they're wrong. Or just very direct translations of the Japanese song names.
-
Thanks for the upload. I'm enjoying the arranged versions so far. Although, I did wish they could have done an arrangement for Albus's battle theme and the mountain theme.
-
I just downloaded the soundtrack from the link provided in the first post and burned it on to CDs. Because of the size of the soundtrack, I needed to use two CDs.
-
No arranged tracks like the POR soundtrack? :/ And "Lament to the Master" is one of my favorite boss themes.
Also: Your track labels are weird and absolutely nothing like what's in the English sound test in the game, but I guess you already knew that.
-
The proper English names are not readily available.
I don't know when I'm going to have the time to write them all down either.
-
My god!!! :o a lot of songs....
Thank you very much, i apreciate for uploading it.
-
In Reply To #35
Yeah. Apparently they're direct translations or something but it was the only set I could for the 2 Disc soundtrack version. The only other one I found was for the 6 track bonus.
-
Say Kamirine, I hate to seem annoying or pushy, but I was wondering if you could rip and upload it one more time for me. ;) I asked for 192 VBR, which does wonders. I noticed you ripped these in iTunes, so all it takes is clicking the Variable Bit Rate box.
If it's too much of a hassle, I'll understand, but I'll give you fictitious Internet candy.
If you don't have many other Castlevania OSTs, I have a few I could upload. DXC, CV Chronicles, Akumajo Dracula Best 1 and 2, Lament of Innocence, Curse of Darkness, the full non-official SOTN soundtrack (where all the songs loop correctly)...plus some other OSTs if you're into Silent Hill or Cybernator or anything.
-
Is this the OST or the gamerip?
I have a gamerip, but I'm waiting for the OST versions with the pumped-up quality.
-
This is the two disc OST.
-
Kamirine, you are my goddes!! I can't thank you enough.
-
Yeah.
-
I have a question. Is the order of the songs on the soundtrack be the same as the order of the songs in the sound mode of the game?
-
Doesn't matter I'll take the time to match the tracks as needed.
-
In Reply To #45
That's a big job, but it'd be awesome if you did. I'd do it myself if I had the game beaten, but unfortunately I haven't had a whole ton of time to really play it.
-
In Reply To #39
I have them all (Castlevania wise. ;D ) But if I do get the chance, I'll upload it for you.
-
ANyone noticed that the Riddle in the OST sounds different from the gamerip soundtrack one. The OST one feels more retro.
-
In Reply To #48
Yeah the gamerip is missing the notes you should be hearing the most.

Hey Kamirine, when you get to renaming/reuploading can you do them with 192 bitrate again?
(edit for font size)
-
Or you could rename them yourself? ;p
But yes, if re-ripped, 192 VBR plz. :)
-
Oh, and thanks by the way, Aziela, for providing the in-game song titles.
-
Well the whole point of me writing it out was so she could rename and reupload. Least that was the impression she gave me.
-
In Reply To #53
Yep. Thank you! Let me rename them and I'll upload them again.
-
screw MP3, flac! >.> yea thats asking too much. Thanks for the OST.
-
In Reply To #51
Wow.
You need to be happy she uploaded them at all. Now I can understand her reloading them because the file names were wrong, but geez, I agree with Kale. You people are being far too picky and asking for too much considering she was nice enough to do it at all. ::)
-
In Reply To #56
Meh, it's no big deal. I had to redo it anyway to put the proper names of the songs on the tracks, so might as well.
And the final versions has been updated. Rah!
-
Kamirine: Pretty cool gal.
Seh uploads OSTs and doesn't afraid of anything :3
Thanks muchly hun, maybe we can work together again shumday.
-
Excellent job! Thank you for kindly providing this to us.
-
Thanks on my behalf as well.
Now that they're properly tagged, I can put 'em on the Radio station. :3

In Reply To #56
You seem to have skipped over all the times I thanked her and said, "If it's no bother, I would like a re-rip using VBR." But hey, whatever. I'm picky, but I'm not being demanding, and I'm very grateful for having the soundtrack available at all.
Anyway, thank you for the re-tagged 192 VBR rips, Kamirine. Appreciate it so much. :)
-
I believe this thread needs a sticky.
-
Thanks for the upload, normally I'd buy it but all I've found is the Konamistyle Edition and can't blow $108.
-
This soundtrack is VERY close to being my favorite, but CoD just BARELY beats it. My favorite in the entire thing is "Azure Wandering". Rhapsody of Indigo Sorrow and Distortion of Chilling Blackness are also great, as well as Dusk's Holy Mark. Yamane's outdone herself, this time.
-
Indeed... I'm listening to the OST right now. And it is totally awesome.
-
Personally, I don't believe Yamane will ever outdo Bloodlines and SOTN, since I don't like the stuff she's done after nearly as much, but OOE is a really good soundtrack, as are her other previous works, just not up to the quality IMO as the two mentioned.
But the older, pre-Bloodlines games will always have the superior soundtracks. :)
-
Your welcome guys. I just really want to thank Aziela for naming the tracks for me properly. I know that was hard work and I really appreciate it.
As for this soundtrack though, I'll admit, it's my overall favorite of the newer Castlevania games. Though it still doesn't beat Curse of Darkness's. That soundtrack was just amazing to me.
-
Was no problem.
Now we just need a sticky.
-
wow, i can't believe it can be downloaded thanks :-*
oh yeah, even though i never played older versions of castlevania before (simon's quest, castlevania, and other OLDER version) i feel like i heard that record 5 item before, when i was 14 my dad took me to his office and it was a hospital (he's not a doctor) sometimes when my dad has freetime (no papers to do or something) he uses the pc and plays Nes emulator, one of the roms in there was castlevania (just don't remember what version) and im not sure if that really was it...
and also, wygol village bgm and demon guest house at DoS is the same? i remember that creepy sound on DoS when i was adjusting that large puzzle :) hehe creepy...
-
A link to gamemp3s.net (http://www.gamemp3s.net/2008/10/31/halloween/)'s rip, which is the best quality (VBR).
-
damn. no flac version.
