This has been bugging me for a while, and I'd just like to have a definite answer.
Does Soma have all of Dracula's memories?
I get that Dracula's soul and being have been resurrected into a new body, which is Soma.

Interesting theory.
When Soma killed Graham, I think that's when he came to the realization that he indeed possessed the soul of Dracula (throughout the whole game, he was full of doubt). If he also gained the memories of 1000 years of torture, I think he would've been driven insane! After all, he was still human. It would've probably been too much to handle all at once, so maybe if he would've embraced his role as Dark Lord, the memories would've then manifested itself. If Chaos would've won over his soul, then Dracula would've truly been reborn. But since the power of compassion and love is what he chose, Soma was spared all those traumatizing memories. Does that make sense? :P
Are you also suggesting Dracula repents during the final battle of 1999? I have also thought of this, and it's plausible.. but seeing the Lord of Darkness saying "i'm sorry, i want to be good now" isn't very likely. Dracula has accepted death & returning to the abyss many times, why should 1999 be any different? His soul being reincarnated was probably a side effect of the castle being sealed, we don't know if it was intended or not.
Also, it's interesting to note that Alucard states that a new Dark Lord will probably emerge. Will Soma relinquish Dracula's soul when he dies?

I always figured Soma all of Dracula's memories, but only when he was in Bad mode.

But in Dawn, he seemed to not know much of what was going on. It was like watching an average (albeit FABULOUS) high school student with the powers of the Lord of Darkness.
because soma already now that there isn't anything that would bug him about being the incarnate of dracula but when celia told him she wants a competition against the other 2 candidates some went berserk (not really)
Offtopic:
crap i never even experienced to play alucard at DoS...

First of all, I doubt that soma has all of drac's memories.
1) in AoS, if soma had gained drac's memory, he would have started calling Arikado either Alucard or Adrian.
2) in AoShe only says that he knows Arikado is there
3) Demitri says something in DoS that makes you wonder:
"Have patience, Arikado. Or perhaps I should address you with
your real name? When the boy began his dark transformation, I
scanned memories of his past lives. Make one move, and the boy
will die. You don't wish that, do you?"
I wonder if this means that if Soma learns the identity of someone significant to dracula (for example: Alucard) it would cause him to revert back to Dracula, effectively killing Soma.
4) In AoS, he only says that he understands that he is dracula.

wait...
how come at DoS soma is the only person that looks like when he get angry he almost can turn to dracula? or may i say that he is the closest one to be dracula? dmitri and the other guy doesn't seem to posses that kind of power they're just like parts? i mean, dmitri able to absorb whatever power that hits him and Darius who can use fire as much as drac does, but soma can fully do ANYTHING :D

Soma is Dracula. That's why.

That's because Soma is the literal reincarnation of Dracula. In other words, Soma was Dracula in his previous life.

I don't know, I'd say the Belmonts are hugely significant to Dracula.
I have a different interpretation of the lines Dmitrii spoke. It goes something like, "Have patience, Arikado. Or should I call you by your real name? That's right, I know who you are, because I scanned memories of the boy's past lives when he began his dark transformation. And I also know how powerful you are, so you'd better not try anything funny, or the boy dies, got that?"

ok... but i thought he's just another candidate that could able to summon dracula? celia explained that soma was born when dracula died :-X

It seemed like he "remembered" everything when he assumed the power chair in Aria and got Dracula in him, he was all "everything's clear now" and such.
But then he suppresses it some and goes to destroy Chaos to cut off the flow that feeds Dracula and the Castle, and it seems like everything just went away with that.
He even assumed his Soul Steal powers went with it, as per the Dawn intro, but that wasn't so.

Perhaps, God gave a second chance to Mathias to be Happy, so, made im reincarnate in Soma, just to have a different existence; so, AOS and DOS shows an abrupt interruption of his quiet and calm life; you can see in the DOS bad ending, that Soma becomes Dracula when Mina is Killed, cruixificated, just as Lisa was, and Lisa's death was the reason for Dracula to take revenge against humans.
-
... You know, that's actually one of the nicest interpretations of the Sorrow titles' Dracula reincarnation concept.

That would make Soma 36 or 37 years old. And he's supposed to be a high school student.
Too bad he didn't go back to school after the whole becoming Dracula thing. All the past knowledge might come in useful. That might make an interesting fan fic.
