Never heard of it. After playing it, I still don't understand if it's a hack or an original game? The music is from Belmont's Revenge. At least the track in the castle/cave/whatever. It's also rather frustrating that when you always end up outside the castle/cave everytime you exit, no matter which exit you take. And you seem to be carrying around A LOT of equipment at the very beginning. I can't read japanese but I manage to boost my stats a lot just trying to equip different stuff. I wonder if the main character is built on Nathan Graves sprite?

I usually don't like things that are refered to as "EMO", but I guess as long as this game doesn't cut it self, it's ok by me....

I don't think its a hack. Unless the game they hacked was a rather unpolished and glitchy game. It is impressive if it is not a hack. The graphics used makes me think it could be a hack though. Gorillas and high tech stuff aren't standard issue Castlevania stuff.

Looks like a cross over of Castlevania and Megaman, I'll try it out later.

And the gorilla in the game is Optimus Prime's beast mode from Beast Wars 2 Gameboy Color game.

I forgot about the Beast Wars 2nd game. Wonder why they call it that since it is more of a mixture of Beast wars and Beast wars 2nd with two characters from Beast Wars NEO.

chinese pirate cartridge would be my guess. unless anyone can confirm that it is indeed in japanese.

Your are right. Even though I am asian (vietnamese) and we use the english alphaabet, I can see the differences between japanese and chinese chars

yeah, i don't know kanji or anything, but i thought some of those didn't seem like any japanese characters i've seen. however, like i said, i don't know it, so i couldn't be entirely sure.

No doubt it's chinese, I can't see a single kanji or hiragana on text.
