Title: Hello people
Post by: Fox on December 22, 2008, 03:37:39 PM
Hey guys, I'm new. :)

I have two Castlevania games on the the DS and I have Judgment for the Wii. I also have many other games but I mostly came here to get some Castlevania friend codes... and some friend. ;D

Hay boy, welcome to the forums  :-*

I take it you are new to the entire CV experience. Are the DS games the only linear games you've played?

I wouldn't call the DS games linear(except for OoE).

I have played few of them, #1,2,4 and the DS ones but I love them. O_O

Well... IGA considers them linear.

But I guess I wouldn't call them that either.

Welcome!

I suggest you play:

Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse

and

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

In my opinion, and I'm sure a lot will agree, they are the best of the series.

I'd replace CV3 with Super Castlevania IV and SotN with Order of Ecclesia.

I'd leave CV3 as it is and replace Sotn with Aria.
But you're right, CVIV deserves it's place in there. It introduced me to the series

Thank you to EVERYONE. I haven't played CV3 and I have no idea how I'm going to... unless I download it. xD

As for Symphony of The Night, I think they re-released it on the PSP which also comes with another CV game, which I can't remember...

I think I forgot to mention this before but I also have Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness for the PS2. I really like those but I'm sure you can tell by my siggy. *points down*

By the way, I added quite a few of people to CV Judgment today but I still have to beat the single player mode then I'll do some Wifi battles. ;)

You unlock it in The Dracula X Chronicles.

... yeah... by finding an "icon" O_O

That still doesn't sit right with me. It should be unlocked by beating the game or something, because it's such an important part of the package and some people may never find it (without cheating). Same goes for Rondo (original).

So, I would have to find an "icon"? Tell me what it is please, is it like.... a secret enemy or a lamppost?

I think its either in a wall or a candle, if I remember right.

You can check gamefaqs. I know it's on that

Its in the graveyard stage if I'm not mistaken.

Near the end of the stage (before a white dragon) there is a ball, that is held from the top of the screen by a net of vines. Hit that and it will fall down as a platform. Use that to progress along the top part of that area. At the end of the top half of this part of the stage there will be either a candle or a breakable wall.

I'd post a picture or two but I don't have time right now.

It's not a candle or breakable wall, it's a vase.

I think you're being overly picky, to the point of annoyance.  It's a breakable-type item.  I think he'll find it and the sentiment of the instructions was correct.

Picky? To the point of annoyance? With that one short post in reply to other posts just to be accurate? Yeah, no.

Guys, don't starting arguing over nothing. I'll just search for something that I can break and if I still don't get it I will then check a online Guide or something.

But thank you for answering my question.  :)
