Just wanted to take a moment to raise a glass of pink champagne and wish everyone here a happy new year. 2008 was not the best year for those of us here in the bay area, so I for one shall not be missing what we be leaving behind tonight. Here's to a better year, to a fresh start in the halls of power, and to providence and smiles all around.

...Hm. I guess the only thing I hope continues on its course from this year and recent years past is the sex. Here's to more sweet lovemaking to come, no pun intended. Salud.
