With all the thousands of dollars each Belmont discovers in the castle, they're able to pay for the family's expenses. By 1999, the Belmont networth has gotta be atleast a mil. And it all came from Dracula's hard-earned cash.
Vampire Hunting is an off-the-books job

Did you REALLY need to create a topic just to say this?

You mean it's not creatures hearts? ;)

I don't think I've seen a topic about this before, so that's an instant plus.
So what do these Belmonts do with their plundered treasures?
Perhaps surrender them to the church, perhaps donate to charities, or perhaps the clan is saving up to build an even bigger Castle than Dracula's.

So maybe, in a future CastleVania, Soma Cruz will fight his way through Julius's inheireted Castle?

In the CoD Manga, Trevor gave the money away. Of course, with that amount of money, I'm sure he could have pocketed enough. :U

Don't you see?
where do you Think Juste Belmont took his fancy white gloves from? THEY BUY CLOTHES!. See the difference from Simon to Juste xD, Trevor threw the gold away, so, the family was poor until Simon, and with his money, the next Belmonts were Rich and beautiful.

Does this mean the second volume of the manga is out? Anyway, back on topic. I don't think that the Belmonts or any other hero would have time to loot Dracula's treasury because after they defeat him, the castle crumbles leaving no time for looting. That is unless they looted before they fight Dracula. Though I think that it would be wrong for anyone except for Alucard to loot the treasury. After all, Alucard has a right to some kind of monetary inheritance. And besides, if the good guys are truly good, they would resort to looting.

LOL that makes perfect sense! I guess Simon didn't like to live in some cabin either...how else would a vampire slayer like Juste learn some interior design.

Yep, Volume 2 is out. Interestingly enough, Trevor remains Ralph Belmont in the Manga...

Haha, Juste's probably the most laid-back Belmont ever. His dear companion has turned evil and their childhood friend has gone missing inside a castle full of monsters - and what does Juste do about this..? He stops to decorate a fuckin' room! Wait a minute... perhaps Death knew about Juste's obsession and left one room unfurnished, knowing Juste wouldn't be able to resist it

OCD, perchance?

Ha...Ha, but wait if Death was trying to distract Juste with decorating, why didn't he just leave the whole castle unfurnished? If Juste really couldn't resist furnishing an unfurnished room why didn't Death or one of the more intelligent enemies come along and remove the things Juste put there. Now that would be a distraction.
