dont get me wrong Bionic Commando is one of my fav NES games but I just dont see a place for a serious game where a guy cant jump and has to use a grappling hook attached to his arm for anything on the Z axis

This just in.  The Bionic Commando, Nathan Spencer, is to be voiced by Michael Patton, of Faith No More and Tomahawk fame.

I've waited so long for a Bionic Commando remake!

Maybe he can jump, but uses the bionic arm for some cool spiderman-like aerial action? Haven't considered that?

1) It looks like there will be jumping.
2) They seem to be relying on the old Bionic Commando games for musical inspiration.

I don't know what's worse about that link: the idiots calling the trailer emo, or the idiots calling it a Spiderman rip-off. The swinging looks like Bionic Commando...in 3D. I don't know what else they expected.

he looks like Snake with a big fat arm. I didnt see any jumping tho. I think he was linkin to somethin above and droppin to shoot like you had to do in the old games.
